2LB Gala apples (about 5 apples), each apple cut into 6 equal slices
4tbsp unsalted butter
1/2cup packed light brown sugar
3tbsp lemon juice
1cup(155g) all-purpose flour
1tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 eggs at room temperature
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup greek style yogurt (8%)
6 tbsp melted unsalted butter
1tsp vanilla extract
Bake at 350F convection bake for 30-35 minutes

You won’t need oven to cook a tasty apple cake, just a pan. The recipe takes not much effort and a little of your time and result will go beyond all expectations.

✅ Ingredients:
• 1 apple
• butter – 2 tbsp
• 1 egg
• all-purpose flour – 5 oz | 150 g
• milk – 5 fl oz | 150 ml
• sugar – 3 tbsp
• vegetable oil – 2 fl oz | 60 ml
• vanillin powder – ⅓ tsp
• baking powder – ⅓ oz | 10 g
• 9% vinegar – 1 tsp
• powdered sugar to taste
• salt - ⅓ tsp

• Ø10 in | 25 cm pan
• carving board

???? Preparation:
1. In a bowl whisk an egg, add the milk, sugar, salt and vegetable oil, combine well.
2. Then add the sieved flour, baking powder and vanillin, whisk until smooth, add then the vinegar and stir.
3. 3. Cut the apple in half, remove the core and cut into small slices.
4. Brush the pan with 1 tbsp of softened butter.
5. Add the apple into one layer and pour with the batter.
6. Cover with a lid and cook for 15 minutes over low heat.
7. Take off the lid, brush the pie with 1 tbsp of softened butter, cover again and cook for 5 minutes over low heat.
8. Push the pie neatly from the pan side with a spatula, cover with a plate, flip on it, put back into the pan, cover with the lid and keep baking for another 5 minutes over the lowest heat.
9. Switch off, take off the lid, cool the apple cake, lay out on the plate, sprinkle with powdered sugar to your taste and serve to the table.
Apple Upside Down Cake
A delicious dessert that looks soo good, no other decoration is needed and this makes it perfect for any occasion or family gatherings.
Ingredients:
Makes about 8-10 servings
4-5 apples
50 g (1/4 cup) +1 tbsp butter
7 tbsp (100g) sugar, divided
1 tsp (3g) ground cinnamon
Cake
1/3 cup (75g) butter, room temperature
5 tbsp (75g) sugar
3 eggs
3 tbsp (45g) sour cream
Grated peel of 1 lemon
1 tsp (5g) vanilla extract
2 tsp (8g) baking powder
11 tbsp (150g) flour
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Butter a 10-inch(26 cm) round cake pan.
2. Peel apples and sprinkle lemon juice over them. Cut them into wedges,remove the core and slice.
3. Melt the butter in a sauce pan. Add 5 tbsp of sugar and cook until sugar dissolves and mixture turns golden brown. Pour the mixture in the prepared pan and arrange the apple slices. Sprinkle 2 tbsp of sugar and add 1 tbsp of butter cut in small pieces over the apples. Cook in the oven until you prepare the batter for the cake.
4. While the apples are in the oven prepare the cake batter. Separate egg whites from the egg yolks. Whisk together the flour and baking powder in a small bowl and set aside.
5. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until well mixed. Beat in the egg yolks, sour cream, lemon zest and vanilla extract. Stir in flour mixture and mix well.
6. Whip egg whites until very stiff and firm. Fold them into the butter mixture.
7. Remove the apples from the oven and sprinkle cinnamon on top. Pour the batter over the apples and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
8. Remove the cake from the oven and let it stand for about 5 minutes.Then run a knife around the edges of the cake to loosen it from the sides of the pan and invert the cake onto a cake plate.
9. Can be served as it is or with vanilla ice cream. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS
3 apples, sliced into wedges
For the batter:
150g (3/4 cup) sugar
220g butter
340g (1 cup) honey
180ml (3/4 cup) buttermilk
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
300g (2 1/2 cups) flour
2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
10g baking powder
For the caramel:
100g (1/2 cup) sugar
3 tbsp water
METHOD
1. In the pan add sugar and water, cook on medium heat until turns into caramel, and top apples with prepared caramel.
2. In another pan cook butter for 6 minutes on medium heat, mix with honey, buttermilk, eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract, sift in the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg, and add in salt. Pour onto the apples and caramel.
3. Bake at 170°C (340°F) for 1 hour. Let it cool for 15 minutes and serve.

Easy Caramel Apple Upside Down Cake
Delicious super easy with basic ingredients caramel apple upside down cake. Soft spongy cake with caramel apple slices. Perfect for tea. This is a very old recipe that has been in husband’s family for years. Wonderful!
INGREDIENTS
For the Caramel and Top:
1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
3 tbsp (45 g) unsalted butter, in small pieces
2 Golden apples, peeled, cored & sliced
1 tbsp (15 ml) sweet Pedro Ximenez sherry (optional)
For the Cake:
3 eggs, at room temperature
1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
1 cup (130 g) self rising flour
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat the sugar in a small sauce pan until it dissolves and turns amber in color.
2. Pour the caramel over a 10 inch baking dish buttered beforehand.
3. Put the pieces of butter randomly on top of the caramel.
4. Then place the slices of apple all around to cover the bottom of the dish and pour the sweet sherry on top.
5. In a bowl, whisk the eggs together with the sugar until the mixture turns pale.
6. Add in the self rising flour and mix just until combine.
7. Pour the batter over the apples and bake at 350ºF (175ºC) for 40 minutes or until fully cooked.
8. Loosen the sides with a knife and leave it to cool for just 5 minutes.
9. Place a plate on top and carefully flip the dish. Serve and enjoy!

Today I bake a simple cake with apples. This quick apple cake is soft, tender and prepared in 10 minutes! When I have apples and want to have a delicious apple cake, I like to make this very quick and simple recipe. Easy and delicious! Have fun!

*** The recipe: (baking pan size: 20cm / 8 inches)
2 / eggs
65g / granulated sugar (4+1/2 tablespoons)
8g / vanilla sugar ( 1/2 tablespoon)
A pinch of salt
Mix well
100ml / milk (1/2cup - 1 tablespoons )
40ml / vegetable oil ( 3 tablespoons)
80g / all-purpose flour (1/2 cup)
10g / baking powder ( 1,5 tablespoons)
Mix well
1 teaspoon / orange zest
3-4 / sweet apples
Pour into the batter and mix well!
Bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C / (356 ° F) for 50-55 minutes!
