Cinnabon Cinnamon Roll Recipe
I’ve been seeing these Cinnabon style cinnamon rolls all over TikTok and I knew that I had to try this recipe out – with a twist! Last year I made these incredible chai cinnamon rolls so I thought combining these two ideas would be an incredible idea. You guys HAVE to try these.
These “Cinnabon” style chai cinnamon rolls are absolutely amazing and definitely deserve a spot on your brunch table immediately. I love how much these puffed up in the oven and 5 rolls is definitely enough to serve about 10 people. They’re huge!
I was a little hesitant to try the cream trick since it seemed like it would just make the rolls soggy! But when they came out of the oven, they were so moist and gooey – just like the Cinnabon ones! Also, the chai powder gives these such an amazing added flavor. If you don’t like chai, feel free to leave this ingredient out! They’re amazing without the chai as well.
What type of Cinnamon Rolls should I use?
You can definitely use homemade cinnamon rolls but I went with the store-bought rolls – the TJ’s cinnamon rolls are some of my favorite store-bought cinnamon rolls.
Ingredients for the “Cinnabon” Style Cinnamon Rolls
These are the ingredients that you’ll need to make these cinnamon rolls:
Store-bought cinnamon rolls
Brown Sugar
Butter
Heavy Whipping Cream
Chai Powder
Again, I highly recommend trying the chai powder but if you’re not a fan, leave it out!
As always, if you give these a try, tag me and let me know what you think!
INGREDIENTS
1 pack Cinnamon Rolls
½ cup Heavy Whipping Cream
5 tbsp Butter
¼ cup Brown Sugar
2 tbsp Chai Powder
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat your oven to 350°.
Place the cinnamon rolls in a large baking pan.
Pour the heavy whipping cream over the rolls.
Melt your butter and combine the melted butter in a bowl with the brown sugar and chai powder. Stir until thoroughly mixed. Spread this on each of the cinnamon rolls in the pan.
Bake these at 350° for 18 minutes (or follow the cooking instructions on your package). Top with the icing and serve warm and enjoy!
