How To make Picadillo (Rice & Beef Hash/Filling)
2 ts Olive oil
8 oz Cooked ground beef lean
1/4 c Diced onions
1/2 Garlic clove, minced
1 md Tomato chopped and seeded
1 sm Apple, pared and chopped
1 Sliced canned jalapeno
2 tb Raisins
2 Large stuffed olives, sliced
2 Pitted black olives, sliced
1/4 ts Each salt and pepper
Dash each cinnamon & cloves 1. In a 10" skillet heat oil over medium heat; add ground beef and cook,
breaking up large pieces with a wooden spoon, until crumbly. Add onion and garlic and saute until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring occasionally until flavors are well blended, about 20 minutes. 2. Serve over rice or as a filling for burritos or tacos.

Ingredients used today:
1 12oz Pack Impossible
1/2 Diced Onion (1 Cup)
1 Diced Tomato (3/4 Cup)
*Optional Diced Tomatillo
2 Diced Large Potatoes or 3 Small Potatoes
(2 & 1/2 Cups)
1-2 Serrano Peppers
*Sub for Jalapeño for less spice or Bell pepper for mild
1/3 Cup Cilantro (Half a bunch)
1/2 Tsp Seasoning Salt (Lawry’s)
1/2 Tsp pepper
1/2 Tsp Chili Powder
1/8 Tsp Cumin
1/2 Tsp Salt or Salt to taste
1 Bay Leaf
Sauce/Caldo:
3-4 Cups Water
2 Tomato
3 Garlic Cloves
1/2 Tbsp Beef Bouillon
