How To make Tofu In Black Bean Sauce
3 tb Peanut or light sesame oil
5 ea Garlic cloves
-- finely chopped 1 tb Ginger, finely grated
3 tb Chinese black beans
3 tb Onions, coarsely chopped
2 tb Soy sauce
2 tb Barley or rice malt
2 c Water
3 tb Kuzu, dissolved in...
1/3 c Water
1 lb Firm tofu, sliced
2 ts Dark sesame oil
In a wok, heat oil until nearly smoking. Add garlic and ginger, and stir-fry rapidly over high heat for 1 minute. Add black beans, and stir for 30 seconds. Add onions, and stir for 2-3 minutes.
Add soy sauce, sweetener, and water. Bring to a boil. Add kuzu. Stir with a wooden spoon until it thickens and becomes clear and shiny. Stir in tofu and dark sesame oil, and simmer 2-3 minutes. 1 Tbsp soy sauce
1/2 Tbsp rice vinegar

Tofu green pepper chilli black bean sauce 豉椒豆腐
We sell a lot of Tofu green pepper chilli black bean sauce, I am going to show you guys how we make it at the shop. It’s similar to my normal green pepper black bean sauce dishes, just with tofu instead of the meat. I’ll use 2 pieces of tofu which I will need to deep fry first before stir frying it. I will use cloves of fresh garlic, 1 red chilli, half green pepper and small handful of onion. Salt, MSG sugar and a teaspoon of black bean (there is a video, on how to prepare black bean on my channel or you can buys jar one from shops).

2 pieces of tofu
Half green pepper
Half small onion sliced
1 red chilli
2 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon black bean
Condiments
1g salt
1g MSG
1g sugar
1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
Half teaspoon oyster sauce
Dash of wine
