How To make Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies
1 cup Flour
1 teaspoon Baking powder
1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
1/2 cup Butter or margarine
3/4 cup Brown sugar
1 Egg
1/4 cup Milk
1 teaspoon Orange peel
shredded
1 1/2 cups Oatmeal
3/4 cup Cranberries :
chopped
1/4 cup Walnuts chopped
:
ORANGE ICING 1 cup Powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon Orange peel :
shredded
1/4 teaspoon Vanilla
Orange juice
1. Stir together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg. In a large mixer bowl beat butter or margarine till softened. Add brown sugar and beat till fluffy. Add egg, milk, and orange peel and beat well. Add flour mixture and beat till well mixed.
Stir in oats, cranberries and nuts.
2. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake in a
375* oven for 10-12 minutes or till done. Remove and cool. Dip tops of cookies in orange icing to coat. Makes about 28.
<ORANGE ICING>...........................................................: Stir together 1 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoon finely shredded orange peel, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla, and enough orange juice (1-2 tablespoons) to make icing of pouring consistency.

Ingredients:
3/4 Cup Old Fashioned Oats (60g)
3/4 Cup All Purpose Flour (105g)
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda (2.5g)
1/3 Cup Butter or Margarine (67g)
1/3 Cup Brown Sugar (70g)
1 Egg
1 Cup Dried Cranberries (160g)
Directions:
1. In one bowl, whisk together the oats, flour, and baking soda. Set aside.
2. In another bowl, cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add the egg and mix until well combined. Add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture in two additions, mixing well after each. Fold in the dried cranberries.
3. Measure the batter for each cookie using a round teaspoon and place on a lined baking sheet. Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes or until cookies are golden brown. Let cool completely on a wire rack.

Recipe for Cranberry Oatmeal Walnut Cookies
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
1/2 cup butter softened (1 stick)
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1/2 tablespoon vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup dried cranberries
½ cup chopped walnuts
¾ cup uncooked quick-cooking oats
1. Beat butter at medium speed with electric mixer until creamy.
2. Gradually add sugars, beating well.
3. Add egg and vanilla, beating until blended
4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
5. Gradually add to butter mixture, beating until blended
6. Stir in cranberries, nuts, and oats
7. Drop dough by heaping tablespoons 2” apart on greased baking sheet
8. Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned
Transfer to wire racks to cool completely
Yields 2 dozen
