How To make Oatmeal Crisps (Pat's Crispy Oatmeal Cookies)
3/4 c Margarine; softened
3/4 c Light brown sugar
1/2 c Sugar
1 lg Egg
1/2 ts Vanilla
1/4 ts Salt
3/4 c All-purpose flour
1 1/4 c Quick-cooking oats
1/2 c Chopped nuts (optional);
-finely chopped 1/2 c Raisins, seedless (o
-ptional)

Cream butter and sugars until fluffy with electric mixer. Beat in egg, vanilla and salt. By hand, stir in flour, a 1/4 cup at a time. Stir in oats. (Add nuts and/or raisins now.) Crop by rounded teaspoons about 2 inches apart. They will spread. But if you want them thinner still, flatten each one with a glass bottom that's been coated in granulated sugar. Bake at 350. About 12 minutes (not too dry!) but browned. Cool on wire rack. If raisins are dry, they will draw moisture from batter as they bake. So use real fresh or plumb them with a little boiling water; drain. :

No Bake Chocolate PB Oat & Crispy Cookies!! Noreen's Kitchen
Greetings! Today I am sharing with you a great no bake recipe! These cookies are awesome using pantry staples and thrown together quickly so that you can enjoy them sooner! Who doesn't love chocolate and peanut butter? I know my family does and these cookies fill that craving!
Simple ingredients that you have on your pantry shelf and in your fridge, come together to make a great dessert or after school treat! These are even great to give away for the holidays and make for bake sales! These are even quick enough to make at a moments notice when you forgot about that cookie exchange at church the next day!
I have used PB and Co's Crunch Time peanut butter I love this one because it is all natural and you don't need to stir it. There are wholesome, ingredients that you can pronounce and the list of what's in there doesn't look like a science experiment! You can use what ever peanut butter you like or what you have on hand, but if you have the opportunity to try the PB and Co peanut butter, I highly recommend it!
You can spoon or scoop these cookies out or form them by hand and then pat them down a little and let them sit for about an hour to cool and harden. Then you can enjoy them!
If you are going to store them, make sure you place them in an airtight container layered with parchment or waxed paper. This recipe rendered approximately 40 cookies that were 1 ounce or 2 tablespoons each. That's a lot of cookies for a little bit of effort!

BAHAN-BAHAN - INGREDIENTS
- 200 gram Mentega – 200 grams Salted Butter
- 50 Gram Margarin – 50 Grams Margarine
- 170 Gram Gula Palem – 170 Grams Palm Sugar / Brown Sugar
- 2 Kuning Telur – 2 Egg Yolk
- ½ SDT Pasta Vanilla – ½ TSP Vanilla Essence
- 250 gram Terigu Protein Rendah – 250 grams Cake Flour
- ½ SDT – ½ TSP Baking Powder
- 1 SDT Bubuk Kayu Manis – 1 TSP Cinnamon Powder
- 200 gram Oatmeal
- 150 gram Chocochips
*Penggunaan margarin dan butter itu bisa kalian atur sesuai selera dan kebutuhan. Kunci kelezatan cookies ada pada penggunaan butter. Tapi – sayang harganya relatif tidak terjangkau. Full butter saja bikin cookies bisa terlalu rapuh. Jadi diperlukan margarin agar tetep kokoh. Penggunaan full margarin masih ok – dan sekarang juga udah ada margarin yang diberi tambahan aroma butter. Cuman hasil tidak selembut dan serenyah cookies yang menggunakan butter. Jadi temen temen bisa mix aja sesuai selera menyesuaikan budget masing masing. Ikutin takaran sesuai resep di atas dijamin super renyah dan buttery ????

1938 Oatmeal Crisp / Butterscotch Crisp Recipe
Ingredients:
120g (125 mL / ½ cup) butter
250 mL (1 cup) brown sugar, packed
500 mL (2 cups) large flake oats
5 mL (1 tsp) pure vanilla extract
1 mL (¼ tsp) salt
[5 mL (1 tsp) baking powder] optional
Method:
Preheat oven to 180ºC (350ºF)
Melt butter in a baking pan, and melt in brown sugar.
Mix in oatmeal, vanilla, salt, and baking powder (if using).
Pat down flat and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden and bubbling.
Remove from oven and let cool slightly before cutting and removing from pan.
Don’t let it cool too much or it will be difficult to remove.
