sour cherry - 450 g (15.9 oz)
blueberries - 300 g (10.6 oz)
dark chocolate - 40 g (1.4 oz)
egg white - 4 pieces
salt - 2 g (0.07 oz)
sugar - 80 g (2.82 oz)
yolk - 4 pieces
oil - 30 ml (1 fl oz)
baking powder - 10 g (0.35 oz)
vanilla sugar - 7 g (0.25 oz)
IN THE OVEN 180 °C (356 °F)/35 minutes
dark chocolate - 100 g (3.5 oz)
walnuts - 50 g (1.76 oz)
IN THE FRIDGE 30 minutes

This Sour Cherry Chocolate Tonka Bean Christmas Cake is deliciously moist, rich and decadent. Tonka beans give a unique flavor, something between vanilla and cinnamon. The cake is topped with the silkiest chocolate cream, named Namelaka, which means ”smooth” or ”creamy” in Japanese. The sour cherry filling brings the perfect balance adding extra flavor and texture. It is a delightful cake, beautifully decorated in winter spirit which makes it a perfect dessert for Christmas or New Year’s Eve.

HOW TO MAKE Sour Cherry Cake
Get ready to make a serving of homemade Sour Cherry Cake! It's a combination of cottage cheese, sour cherries and Parisian cream! It's one of many delicious sour cherry recipes!

Sour Cherry Cake Recipe:
Step 1
Beat the egg yolks with the sugar until fluffy. Then add the water, oil, both flours and the baking soda.
Step 2
While stirring, also add the cocoa powder to the batter.
Step 3
Whip up the egg whites and fold them into the batter. Pour it into your cake pan which is already lined with baking paper. Bake for 15 minutes at 355°F.
