Easy Rum Balls Recipe
My easy no bake rum balls have a wonderful chocolatey rum-infused flavor that you’ll just love! They’re a holiday favorite that’s delicious year round! Rum balls might be my favorite cookie/candy/amazingly delicious treat, I love how the toasted nuts, cocoa, cookies, and rum come together in a moist chewy, crunchy bite-sized bit of wonder! And yes you can make these with bourbon, brandy or whiskey too. Do these count as Cristmas cookies??

Servings - 10
INGREDIENTS
All purpose flour - 200 grams
Cocoa powder - 25 grams
Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
Baking soda - 1/4 teaspoon
Salt - 1/8 teaspoon
Butter - 80 grams
Superfine sugar - 200 grams
Buttermilk - 2 tablespoons
Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
Milk - 330 milliliters, divided
Water - 300 milliliters
Butter - 75 grams
Dark chocolate - 150 grams
Almond flour - 25 grams
Rum - 60 milliliters
Water - 300 milliliters
Chocolate - 300 grams
Desiccated coconut - 250 grams
Chocolate sprinkles - 300 grams
PREPARATION
1. In a mixing bowl, add 200 grams all purpose flour, 25 grams cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, 1/8 teaspoon salt and mix it well. Keep aside.
2. In a another mixing bowl, add 80 grams butter and whisk it well.
3. Add 200 grams superfine sugar and mix it well.
4. Add 2 tablespoons buttermilk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and mix it well.
5. Then, add 180 milliliters milk and mix it again.
6. Now, add the prepared flour mixture in batches and mix it well.
7. Add 150 milliliters milk and mix it again.
8. Transfer this batter into a baking dish covered with butter paper and spread it evenly.
9. Preheat the oven to 350°F/180°C.
10. Bake for at least 30 - 35 minutes.
11. Remove it from oven and crumbled the cake properly. Keep aside.
12. Take a deep pan, add 300 milliliters water, place a bow on it.
13. Add 75 grams butter, 150 grams dark chocolate and mix it well until the chocolate is melted.
14. Transfer this into crumbled cake, add 25 grams almond flour, 60 milliliters rum and mix it well.
15. Take some mixture in your hands and shape it into a ball.
16. Place it on a plate and refrigerate for 15 - 20 minutes.
17. Take a deep pan, add 300 milliliters water, place a bow on it.
18. Add 300 grams dark chocolate and mix it well until the chocolate is melted.
19. Place it on a shelf, dip the prepared balls in it and coat it with desiccated coconut.
20. Coat some of the balls with chocolate sprinkles.
21. Serve.
