-substitutions) 1/4 ts Salt
1/2 c Vegetable shortening
1 1/2 ts Vanilla extract
1/2 ts Lemon extract
1 c 7-Up or other lemon-lime
-soda
*************************** ***** 7-UP Pound Cake ***** *************************** Calories per serving: 420 Number of Servings: 16 Fat grams per serving: 20 : Approx. Cook Time: 90min Cholesterol per serving: 97 Marks: *DIRECTIONS* Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease 12-cup Bundt pan. Combine flour and salt in bowl. Combine remaining ingreidents except soda in large mixer bowl; beat at medium speed until ligfht and fluffy, scraping sides occasionally, 5 minutes. Reduce speed to low; add dry ingredients and soda, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Bake 1 1/2 hours or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes. Invert onto wire rack, remove pan and cool completely. Makes 16 Servings. Per Servings: 420 calories, 4 gm protein, 20 gm fat, 57 gm carbohydrates, 173 mg sodium, 97 mg cholesterol.

Homemade 7up pound cake recipe from scratch, one of the best pound cakes with only 7 ingredients.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups unsalted butter room temp
3 cups sugar
3 cups flour
5 eggs room temp
1 cup 7up room temp
1 tsp lemon extract
1 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat oven 350
Cram butter, add sugar one cup at a time, beating one minute, add eggs one at a time, beat well after each one, add the flavors mix, add flour and 7up, start with flour end with flour, pour into butter and flour bundt, bake one hour 10 minutes-1 hour 20 minutes or until done depend on stove.

Easy 7up Pound Cake Recipe:
Ingredients:
3 (scant) cups of sugar
2 sticks of butter
1/2 cup of butter flavored crisco
3 cups of cake flour ( I use Swans Down)
5 eggs
7 oz of 7up pop
1/2 teaspoon of coconut flavor
1 teaspoon of lemon flavor
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Have ingredients at room temperature
Cream sugar, butter and crisco @ high speed
Add eggs, one at a time
Continue beating @ high speed
Add flour and 7up alternately
Add flavoring
Bake in greased tube pan @ 325 degrees for about 1 1/2 hours
