The Best Keto Pound Cake - Like Sarah Lee, but only 4g net carbs
NOTE: I accidentally made this recipe with 1/2 tsp of baking powder rather than 1/2 TB baking powder. It was very tasty, but dense. The recipe in the link below is correct -- you should use 1/2 TB baking powder.

A slice of warm and incredibly moist pound cake just like Sara Lee's is a comforting snack you can easily make at home. This perfect pound cake has a soft texture and a rich taste making it great to eat by itself or served with fruits and a cup of milk.

Ingredients:
1½ cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
1 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup sour cream or yogurt
4 eggs
2 tbsp vanilla extract
1 tsp salt
½ tsp baking powder
To Serve:
Roughly 2 oz strawberries per serving
⬇️ How to make Sara Lee’s Incredibly Moist Pound Cake ⬇️
0:11 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9-inch loaf tin with cooking spray, dust with flour, and tap to remove any excess.
0:21 Sift together flour, salt, and baking powder. Set aside.
0:30 Cream together butter and sugar until pale and light, roughly 5 to 7 minutes.
0:39 Add yogurt, eggs, and vanilla. Continue creaming.
0:54 Fold the sifted flour mixture into your wet mixture until evenly incorporated.
1:02 Pour the batter into your greased loaf tin and bake for roughly 45 minutes or until the top is golden and a cake tester comes out clean.
1:14 Let it cool while still in the tin before slicing.
1:15 Garnish with fresh fruits or powdered sugar.

Ingredients:
1 (16 ounces) package Sara Lee® Frozen Pound Cake thawed
3 eggs beaten
1/3 cup heavy cream or 1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
dash of salt
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
powdered sugar (garnish)
1.Slice pound cake into twelve slices (about ½-inch thick.)
2.Whisk eggs, cream, extracts and spices in a medium bowl until well blended.
3.Dip each pound cake slice into egg mixture making sure to coat all sides, shaking off excess batter into bowl.
4.Melt butter in large skillet over medium-high heat.
5.Add pound cake slices to skillet. Cook 1 to 2 minutes per side or until golden brown.
6.Sprinkle with Confectioner’s sugar and top with fresh fruit or maple syrup, if desired.
Perfect Pound Cake Recipe - Sara Lee Inspired
INGREDIENTS:
• 3 large eggs
• 3 tbsp milk
• 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
• 1 1/3 cups cake flour
• ¾ tsp baking powder
• ¼ tsp salt
• ¾ cup sugar
• 13 tbsp unsalted softened butter
**whipped cream ingredients**
• 2 cups heavy whipping cream
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2-5 tbsp of powdered sugar (depending how sweet you like it)
RECIPE:
• Preheat oven to 350F
• In a bowl place cake flour, sugar, salt and baking powder. Mix on low with either electric mixer or hand mixer for 30 seconds
• In a separate bowl combine milk, eggs and vanilla extract and whisk
• Add the butter and half of the wet mix to your dry mix – then mix on low speed until dry ingredients are moistened
• Increase mixing speed to medium and beat for one minute
• Add remaining egg mix and beat for 30 seconds (do not over-mix)
• Prepare an oven safe pan by buttering all sides and then dusting lightly with flour – scrape your batter into the pan and smooth top with back of spoon or offset spatula (add zest if you like)
• Bake for 50-55 mins or until cake is golden brown (tip: stick a toothpick inserted into the center of cake, if it comes out clean its good to go!)
• Place the cake on a wire rack to cool for 10 minutes – then remove cake from the pan and cool completely on a wire rack
• Store cake in large sealable plastic bag or plastic wrap *make sure its cool*
• To make homemade whipped cream: beat vanilla and heavy cream together until soft peaks form, then add powdered sugar and whip to desired consistency
