How To make Ground Beef Barbecue

beef, lean, ground

onion, chopped

each
garlic, cloves, minced

each
celery, ribs, finely chopped

teaspoon
salt
1/2
teaspoon
pepper
1
tablespoon
vinegar, cider
2
tablespoon
mustard, prepared
1/4
cup
sugar, brown
1
teaspoon
mustard seed
3 1/2
cup
ketchup
Directions:
Brown meat in slow cooker or skillet on top of range on medium heat. Remove excess grease. Transfer cooking pot to heating base or transfer meat to slow cooker. Add all remaining ingredients stirring well to blend. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Serve on buns or over hot dogs for chili dogs.

1 brown onion, finely diced
1 handful chopped mint (or parsley)
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp red sumac
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp sweet paprika
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cardamom
2-3 crushed garlic cloves
1 tbsp olive oil
