Kiddish Prep: How to Make a Kiddish/ Kiddish Recipes/ Mini Lotus Cups/ Cholent/ Overnight Potato Kugel/ Lokshen Kugel/Deli Roll/ Franks in Blanks/ Vegetable Platter/ Fruit Plater/ Cake Platter/ Hering/ Salad and so much more.
A kiddish is a social gathering that takes place on a Saturday afternoon right after everyone gets out of synagogue. It’s a time to mingle and eat some yummy food and drinks.
This week we hosted our first kiddish and it went SO well.

Mini Lotus Cups:
2 small whipping creams
1/4 cup of sugar
1 toffuti cream cheese
Cholent:
1 and a 1/2 cups Cholent mix
1/2 cup of barley
Grated apple, carrot, tomato and onion
Salt
Paprika
Hot paprika
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp consome
1 small can of tomato sauce
2-3 lamb steaks
Pastrami Pizza:
Sauté onion and pastrami. Add BBQ sauce and let mixture brown. To assemble: on a pizza crust add spicy mayo, then pastrami mixture. Top with arugula, more spicy mayo and bbq sauce.

Ingredients:
- 3 eggplants
- 60g vegetable oil
- 3g salt (1/2 tsp)
- 3g paprika (1/2 tsp)
- 400g minced beef
- 2 tomatoes
- 100g onion
- 100g green bell pepper
- 100g red bell pepper
- 3g salt (1/2 tsp)
- 20g ketchup
- Black pepper
- Mozzarella cheese
????1st baking: Bake at 200°C/392°C for about 30 minutes.
????2nd baking: Bake at 200°C/392°C for about 20 minutes.

Bu şakşuka tarifinin tadına doyamayacaksınız. Türk mutfağının yıldızı Şakşuka mezesi sosu eski ustaların adeta sırrı gibi gizli ve nefis #mezetarifi. Patlıcan mezelerinin belki de en lezzetlisi #şakşuka mezesi. Rumeli mezeleri arasında en sevilen #yemek tarifi. Patlıcan meze tarifleri denince ilk akla gelen nefis tarif. Şakşuka, başka yöre mutfaklarında da üç aşağı beş yukarı benzer uygulamalarla hazırlanan Rumeli menşeili bir çeşit mezedir. Rumeli insanının Anadolu’da yayılış gösterdiği geniş bir coğrafyada Şakşuka tarifine rastlıyoruz. Diğer yöre mutfaklarında patates, kabak gibi diğer sebzeler de kızartılarak tarife ilave edilir. Trakya mutfağında ise daha sade ana malzemeler kullanılır. Sarımsağın çeşnilendirdiği gerçek sosuyla iştah açıcı bu lezzet yöre mutfağında yaz sofralarında çokça yer bulur.
