Here is what you'll need!
SLOW COOKER BEEF STEW
Servings: 8-10
INGREDIENTS
3 pounds beef chuck roast
⅓ cup flour
1 tablespoon salt
½ tablespoon pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup red onion, diced
1 celery stalk, diced
1 carrot, diced,
3 garlic cloves, minced
28 ounces plum tomatoes, canned
2 cups red wine
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped
1 bay leaf
½ tablespoon salt
PREPARATION
In a small bowl, combine flour, salt, and pepper.
Rub the flour mixture on the beef, making sure it is covered entirely.
Heat oil in large skillet. Sear the meat on every side until golden brown.
Transfer meat into slow cooker.
Add onion, celery, carrot, garlic, tomatoes, wine, herbs, bay leaf, and salt.
Cook on low for 8 hours.
Serve it with your favorite side dish and sprinkle some freshly chopped parsley.

In today's video, I'm making a DELICIOUS Crockpot Beef Stew. I made some good ol' Southern Cornbread to go with it. This is the perfect Fall Dinner Recipe, and I really hope you enjoy it! ????Crockpot Beef Stew Recipe:
CROCKPOT BEEF STEW:
-2 Tbsp Oil
-1 Onion, diced
-2 1/2 lbs. Stew Meat
-1/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
-1 packet McCormick Beef Stew Seasoning Mix
-1 packet Brown Gravy Mix
-5 Cups Water
-3 tsp. Beef Better than Bouillon
-1 Tbsp. Worcestershire Sauce
-1 1/2 lbs. Russet Potatoes, Peeled and cut into pieces
-2 Cups Baby Carrots-2 Bay leaves, (optional)
-1 Cup Frozen Peas
-1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar, optional
***To a large skillet, over med-high heat, add 2 Tbsp. of Oil, and 1 diced Onion. Sautee for about 5 minutes to allow to soften a bit. Then add in Beef Stew Meat and All-purpose flour, stir, brown meat on all sides. Scrape bottom of skillet to loosen those flavorful brown bits. Pour all that into a large Crockpot. Then add in Beef Stew Seasoning Packet, Brown Gravy Mix, Carrots, Potatoes, Water, Beef Bouillon, Worcestershire sauce, ACV, and bay leaves. Cook on LOW for 8 hours. ***When Beef Stew has beef cooking for about 7 1/2 hours, add in frozen Peas and let continue to cook for 30 more minutes. Then enjoy

Stews are good for the soul — and this traditional beef stew recipe from my childhood is no exception. It's like another version of my Dad's favorite Irish lamb stew, but with delicious elements of pot roast. The beef chunks are melt-in-your-mouth, the vegetables become tender, and the red wine, tomato-y broth continues to build flavor as it simmers. Plus, my house is filled with the most delicious, savory aroma whenever I make this beef stew. I think you're going to love it as well!

00:21 Prep the carrots, celery, potatoes, onion and garlic.
01:47 Season the beef stew meat.
02:33 Sear the beef stew meat, until golden.
03:22 Deglaze the pot with onions, garlic, and vinegar.
03:56 Add the cooked beef chunks back to the pot and stir with flour.
04:45 Pop open a bottle of red wine, then add to the pot with beef broth and herbs. Simmer for an hour.
05:25 Add the carrots, celery, and potatoes. Simmer another 20 to 30 minutes.

1 (1 medium) onion , chopped
4 cloves (4 cloves) garlic , minced
4 (4 ) carrots , cut into bite sized pieces
1 pound (454 g) potatoes , cut into bite sized pieces
2 stalks (2 stalks) celery , chopped
2 cups (480 ml) beef broth
14 ounces (397 g) tomato sauce (about 1 3/4 cups)
2 Tablespoons (30 ml) Worcestershire sauce (or soy sauce)
1 teaspoon (5 ml) dried herbs (thyme, oregano, basil)
1 Tablespoon (15 ml) sugar
1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt , or to taste
1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) black pepper
3 Tablespoons (45 ml) corn starch
3 Tablespoons (45 ml) water
