Ribbon Fudge (Фъдж)
Ribbon Fudge Recipe
Ingredients:
For the chocolate layer:
1.5 cups sugar
6 tbsp. unsalted butter (or 85 grams)
1/3 cup evaporated milk
7 oz. marshmallow fluff
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips for baking
1/2 tsp vanilla
For the peanut butter layer:
1.5 cups sugar
6 tbsp. unsalted butter (or 85 grams)
1/3 cup evaporated milk
7 oz. marshmallow fluff
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
Preparation:
Start with the chocolate layer. In a small sauce pan, combine sugar, butter and evaporated milk. Bring to a boil on medium heat while stirring constantly. Once the mixture is boiling, start a timer and stir for 4 minutes exactly - you may have to lower the temperature a little bit if your mixture starts boiling too hard. Once your timer goes off, turn your stove off (take the pan off the heat). Immediately add chocolate chips and stir a little bit. Add marshmallow fluff and vanilla. Stir well until all ingredients are well combined and your mixture is a solid color. Spread in a greased pie shell or a 13 inch by 9 inch pan.
Wash your pan and repeat the process for the peanut butter layer. Combine sugar, butter and evaporated milk. Immediately add peanut butter and stir a little bit. Add marshmallow fluff and vanilla. Stir well until all ingredients are well combined and your mixture is a solid color. Spread on top of the chocolate layer.
Let cool well before eating. The fudge will last a week or two if covered. You don't need to refrigerate it. Enjoy.

Alton Brown's Easy Peanut Butter Fudge
Few holiday treats say I care quite like fudge, which is delicious, tedious, and time consuming. Since it only has 4 ingredients and takes about 10 minutes to make, this fudge says I forgot to get you anything, so I made this at the last minute. Luckily, it's so delicious, no one will really care.
Happy Holidays!
