How To make Cherry Upsidedown Cake
21 oz Cherry pie filling
2 1/4 c Flour, all-purpose
1 1/2 c Sugar
3/4 c Unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 ts Baking powder
3/4 ts Salt
1 1/2 c Water
1/4 c Oil
1/4 c Vinegar
1 1/2 ts Vanilla
Spread cherry pie filling over the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. In a large bowl stir flour with sugar, cocoa, soda, and salt. In another bowl, combine the water, oil, vinegar and vanilla. Add liquid to dry mix all at once. Stir just to moisten. Pour batter evenly in the pan over the cherry filling. Bake in a preheated 350~ oven for 30-35 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in pan; invert onto plate and cool. -----

INGREDIENTS:
One egg
Vanilla 1/2 tsp
Sugar 1/3 cup
Beat until foamy
Oil 1/4 cup
All purpose flour 2/3 cup
Baking powder 1/2 tsp
Baking soda 1/4 tsp
Milk 1/4 cup
20cm nonstick fry pan
Brush butter
Cherry 200gm
Spread evenly
Close the lid hole
Place a heavy bottom pan on stove
Heat the for 5 min on medium flame
After 5 mins place the frypan
Cook it on low flame for 15-25 mins
NOTE: 1 CUP = 250 ML

Black Cherry Upside Down Cake Recipe This upside down cherry dessert recipe uses cherries left over from our Black Cherry Soda Pop recipe: But you could use either fresh cherries or frozen cherries to make this stunningly tasty cherry cake. So ditch that old Black forest cake recipe... for this amazing upside down cherry cake recipe.
Topping:
500g cherries
30 mL (2 Tbsp) sugar
30 mL (2 Tbsp) butter, melted
Cake:
125 mL (½ cup) butter
250 mL (1 cup) sugar
3 eggs
500 mL (2 cups) all-purpose flour
10 mL (2 tsp) baking powder
2 mL (½ tsp) coarse salt
2 mL (½ tsp) baking soda
250 mL (1 cup) plain yogurt or sour cream
Method:
Preheat oven to 220ºC (425ºF).
Grease a 9 cake pan and line with parchment paper.
Make topping:
Mix cherries, sugar and butter in the cake pan and place in oven for 35 minutes.
When cherries are cooked remove pan from oven and lower oven temp to 180ºC (350ºF).
When the topping is cooked, make the cake:
Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Cream in the eggs one at a time.
Whisk together dry ingredients in mixing bowl.
Alternate beating in yogourt and flour mixture.
Mix just until last of flour is mixed in.
Transfer batter to cake pan.
Bake for about an hour, or until a tester comes out clean.
Unmold while still warm.

A super summery fun upside down cake!
Caramel:
- 1/2 cup sugar

- 1 Tbsp butter
Cake:
- 2 cups all purpose flour

- 1/2 cup creme fraiche, yogurt or sour cream
