Ingredients:
23 oz beef or turkey frankfurters, cut into ½-inch discs
2-16 oz cans baked beans
8½ oz corn muffin mix
3 oz red onions, chopped
1 cup tomato sauce
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
¾ cup milk
2 tbsp green onions, thinly sliced
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1½ tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1½ tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp molasses
½ tbsp chili powder
1 egg
Salt & ground black pepper to taste
For Garnish:
parsley, chopped

0:08 Heat up a skillet with oil over medium heat. Add the frankfurters and saute until fully caramelized roughly 8 to 10 minutes.
0:17 Add onions and saute until translucent.
0:22 Add baked beans, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and molasses.
0:33 Bring the stew to a simmer, season with salt and pepper, and continue simmering until it has reduced by at least half and thickened for roughly 15 minutes.
0:48 While waiting, prepare your topping. In a mixing bowl, add the corn muffin mix, cheese, milk, green onions, melted butter, chili powder, egg.
1:11 Whisk until a batter is formed and set aside.
1:17 Preheat also your oven to 360 degrees F.
1:20 Transfer into a baking casserole of your choice.
1:22 Pour the batter on top and spread to cover all the spaces.
1:33 Bake in the oven until the topping turns golden brown, roughly 15 minutes.

Elevate a childhood classic: Smoked Franks and Beans. Don't laugh, you know you want a big bowl. The nostalgia is real! We're bringing them outside for a bold boost of flavors with bourbon and smoke with this easy recipe for some delicious party food.
**This recipe was made using my pellet smoker. You may use your oven, but you will not have the added smoke flavor.**

▬▬ INGREDIENTS ▬▬
12 oz pack of little smokies (hot dogs, cocktail franks)
2 tbsp mustard
2 tbsp BBQ rub
2 tbsp vegetable or corn oil
1 medium sweet onion, diced
2-3 jalapenos, diced
3/4 Cup BBQ sauce
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp dijon mustard
2 tbsp molasses
2 tbsp bourbon
2 tsp BBQ rub (I use Double Action by Reload Rub, link below)
2 cans of baked beans, 22oz
▬▬ DIRECTIONS ▬▬
· Set the smoker for 225°F.
· Mix the franks with the mustard first, then add the BBQ rub. Place them out on a wire rack that can be used in the smoker. Smoke them for 1 hour.
· 10 minutes before the franks are done, start making the sauce and baked beans. Heat up the oil in a Dutch oven, this pot will be going directly into the grill. Add in the onions and jalapenos, cook them down for 2-3 minutes until they soften. Add in the remainder of the ingredients and cook on low, heating through to incorporate the flavors. Once the franks are done, add them in.
· Adjust the smoker temp to 250°F and place the Dutch oven with all ingredients inside. Smoke for 2-3 hours, until you have reduced the baked beans by at least 1 on the side. I recommend stirring about every 30 minutes.
· Enjoy and serve with toppings such as green onions, cheddar cheese, white onions, or chips.
