How To make Breakfast Sausage Balls
2 Tbsp Orange Juice, Frozen Concentrate
2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
4 Slices Bread
1 Egg
slightly beaten
1/2 Lb Mild Bulk Sausage
1/2 C Chopped Roasted Pecans
2 Tbsp Parsley Flakes
Break up bread in orange juice and maple syrup. Add egg and mix thoroughly. Blend in remaining ingredients. Make into small sausage balls about 1 inch in diameter or into patties. Fry slowly in a skillet or griddle over medium heat until browned. May be served as an hors d'oeuvre or accompaniment to macaroni for a family supper. Can be made ahead and frozen after cooking. Reheat in a warm oven before serving.
Makes 4 to 6 patties, or 12 to 16 sausage balls.

Sausage Balls (NO Bisquick! NO flour!)
Sausage Balls (NO Bisquick! NO flour!)
1 pound sausage (mild, medium, or spicy)
1/3 cup water chestnuts, diced
1/4 cup Craisins, chopped
1/2 tsp. dried basil
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 large pinch chili powder
paprika (to sprinkle on top)
Preheat oven to 375°.
Mix together all ingredients, except paprika. Use approximately three tablespoons of mixture to form balls. Place on a rack over a parchment paper lined cookie sheet and sprinkle generously with paprika. Bake 30 minutes. Serve with your choice of dipping sauce. Makes approximately 12 sausage balls.
NOTE: These can be frozen, before baking, on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Then place frozen sausage balls in Ziploc freezer bag or vacuum seal. To prepare, thaw sausage balls completely then bake following directions from above. 
How to Make Easy Sausage Balls
Easy sausage balls are a cinch to make. Spicy ground sausage paired with cheddar cheese, parsley and flour make something as easy to make as it is to eat!
