1 1 Lb. Box Powdered Sugar
6 Eggs
4 C Flour
1/2 C Water
2 Tsp Vanilla
4 Oz Black Walnuts :
chopped
Grease and lightly flour a 9" tube pan. Cream butter until light and fluffy, then gradually add sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating until light and creamy. Add flour alternately with water and vanilla, beating until smooth and light. Fold in walnuts. Pour in pan and bake at 350

1 box Betty Crocker vanilla cake mix
4 eggs
1 stick unsalted butter
1 cup of water
1 cup black walnuts diced
Mix all ingredients but the walnuts, put them in last, preheat oven to 350, grease 2 cake pans, pour mixture into pans bake about 25-30 minutes depend on your stove.

1 stick unsalted butter softened
1-8 oz pack of cream cheese softened
3 cups powder sugar, Cream butter with mixer add cream cheese mix well, add powdered sugar until all lumps are out, icing cake.

(1 pound cake or 2 mini pound cake)
180g(1cup plus 4Tbsp) pastry flour
150g(2/3cup) unsalted butter (room temp)

Easy Walnut Or Pecan Pound Cake
This is one of those cakes you'll love to make because all the ingredients are placed in the mixing bowl together and then mixed at the same time. For a busy day or a day you have a lot of errands to run, this is the perfect cake! The recipe is below. Enjoy!!!

Walnut Pound Cake Starting With a Cake Mix
1 box yellow cake mix
1 cup AP flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup sour cream ( room temperature)
1 cup oil
6 large or extra large eggs (room temperature)
1 to 1-1/2 cups finely chopped walnuts or pecans or nut of your choice
Preheat oven to 350. Grease very well a tube pan
Add all ingredients to a mixer, just dumping them in together. Beat at medium speed until thoroughly mixed, about 5 minutes. Pour into a well greased tube pan and bake 55 to 60 minutes or until a tester inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean. Let cool 10 minutes in tube pan then turn out on a cooling rack until cool. Enjoy!!
Black Walnut Pound Cake with Buttercream Glaze
This black walnut pound cake with buttercream glaze is a very old and wonderfully moist and delicious cake. It baked in my oven for about one hour and 10 minutes, so be sure to start checking it after the first hour. The ingredients and a link to lining your tube pan are listed below. 2 sticks butter, softened (please use real butter)
1/2 c shortening
3 c sugar
5 large eggs at room temperature
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tsp black walnut flavoring
3 c all-purpose flour, sifted first then measured
1 tsp baking powder
1 c milk or half and half
1 c chopped black walnuts
Buttercream Glaze:
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) clarified butter
1/8 cup whole milk (more if needed)
2 cups confectioner's sugar
1/2 to 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tablespoon light corn syrup

Katie's Black Walnut Cake & Glaze:
- 2 sticks softened Butter
- 3 cups sifted All-purpose Flour
- 2 teaspoons Baking Powder
- 4 Eggs
- 2-1/2 cups of Sugar
- 1 cup Milk
- 2 cups Black Walnuts
Pre-heat oven to 350°F
In a bowl, combine butter and sugar,
Add one egg at a time while blending.
Also add flour and baking powder (sifted together)
Add milk slowly to creamy mixture
Lastly, add Walnuts
Piur into greased bundt pan
Bake at 350°F for approx. 60 to 75 minutes (depending on oven)
Ingredients for the glaze:
- 2 cups Sugar
- 1 stick Butter
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
Combine all ingredients in a pan on the stove.
Bring to a boil. Remove.
Beat mixture for 1 minute
Immediately pour glaze over the cake (slowly).

Recipe ingredients:
1 lb. all-purpose flour (approximately 3 1/3 cups)
1 lb. black walnuts (16 ounces)
1 lb. butter (2 cups or 4 sticks) I used salted butter
1 lb. sugar (2 1/4 cups)
9 eggs
1/2 cup white wine or white grape juice
(Original recipe calls for 8 ounces of the wine)
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Bake in 275 degree preheated oven for 2 1/2 hours
Glaze:
3 tablespoons melted butter
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups powdered sugar
Drizzle on slightly warm cake
