How To make Bean and Sausage Casserole
-Waldine Van Geffen 1 lb Smoked Sausage; Cut 1" Piece 1 pk Frozen Lima Beans; 10oz 3/4 c Ketchup
1 cn Baked Beans; 21oz 2 tb Packed Brown Sugar
1 cn Kidney Beans; Drained 1/2 ts Salt
1 cn Great Northern Beans; 15-1/2 1/2 ts Dry Mustard
-oz, Drained 1/8 ts Pepper 1 sm Onion; Chopped
Heat oven to 400~. Rinse frozen lima beans with cold water to separate. Mix lima, baked, kidney and northern beans, onion and sausage in ungreased 2-1/2-quart casserole. Mix remaining ingredients; stir into bean mixture.
Cover and bake 40 to 50 minutes or until hot and bubbly. -----

Phil Vickery's Sausage and Bean Casserole | This Morning
Phil cooks up his simple sausage casserole.
Sausage and beans: a delicious recipe for dinner
INGREDIENTS
Extra virgin olive oil
2 cloves of garlic
Sage
800g of pork sausage
600g (2 3/4 cups) of tomato sauce
800g of beans
Salt
Pepper
METHOD
1. In a pan add the extra virgin olive oil, and garlic, and use the sage to flavor the oil. Add the sausages and let them brown on all sides.
2. Pour tomato sauce over the sausages and let them cook over low heat (for about 30-35 minutes).
3. Add the cooked beans and stir all well. Season with salt, and pepper, add the fresh sage and continue cooking until the sauce is tender (for about 10 minutes).
4. Remove from the heat and serve on a plate.

Today i'm going to show you how to make my Sausage & Bean Casserole. All cooked in one pot to save on the washing up and can be made ahead too!
This Big Batch Sausage and Bean One Pot is a great dish for a family gathering that can be made ahead of time.

Ingredients for the casserole:
2 tbsp olive oil
20-30 depending on how hungry your family are! good quality chipolata sausages (use gluten-free chipolatas if required)
1 large red onion peeled and roughly chopped
2 red peppers deseeded and roughly chopped
20 mini chorizo the bitesize ones, chopped in half
3 cloves garlic peeled and minced
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried thyme
120 ml (1/2 cup) red wine (optional)
2 chicken stock cubes crumbled (replace with 2 tsp vegetable bouillon for gluten free)
3 x 400g (14 oz) tins chopped tomatoes
1 x 400g (14oz) tin haricot beans, drained and rinsed
1 x 400g (14oz) tin cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
