How To make Sausage Bean Chowder
1/2 lb Pork sausage
1 cn Kidney beans (16 oz.)
1 1/2 c Canned tomatoes
2 c Water
1 md Onion, chopped
1 Bay leaf
3/4 ts Salt
1/4 ts Garlic salt
1/4 ts Thyme
1/8 ts Pepper
1/2 c Potatoes, diced
1/4 c Green pepper, chopped
Cook sausage in skillet and brown. Pour off fat. In a large kettle, combine beans, tomatoes, water, onion, bay leaf, salt, garlic salt, thyme and pepper. Add sausage. Simmer, covered for 1 hour. Add potatoes and green peppers. Cook covered for 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Remove bay leaf and serve.

This is a soup i actually created 1-15 years ago for a few of my neighbors that chapped to Hispanic and some didn't eat pork
So i created a bean soup with a Latin flare and has all beef
Its very easy to make cause its all done in a crock pot or instant pot (on slow cooker setting)
You also can cook on top of the stove for a faster result,but the low ans slow crock pot /slow cooker method is best cause it allows the flavors to marry together for hours
RECIPE:
1# Pinto beans(you actually can use any bean you like or multiple types)
8 cups water
2 ea Anaheim pepper(seeded and sliced)
1 ea sweet onion(large diced)
3 stalks celery(large diced)
6 small sweet pepper(seeded and sliced)
4 ea taqueria style bone in beef shanks
1# beef hot links or beef smoked sausage(sliced)
2 tsp salt and pepper
2 tsp chopped garlic
2 tsp cavenders Greek seasoning
2 tablespoons chicken bullion powder base
DIRECTIONS:
Add beans to pot
Add meat to pot
Add water to pot
Add peppers,onions and celery
Add spices and garlic
Add last cup of water and cover with lid
Place instant pot setting on slow cook and let cook for 8 hours on HIGH setting
Enjoy with tortillas or cornbread

Potato Corn Chowder: the perfect summer soup! | The Recipe Rebel

Ingredients
▢2 slices thick cut bacon diced
▢1 medium onion diced
▢1 stalk celery sliced
▢1 teaspoon minced garlic
▢1 teaspoon salt
▢1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
▢1/4 teaspoon black pepper
▢3 cups low sodium chicken broth
▢4 medium potatoes diced
▢3 cups fresh or frozen corn
▢3/4 cup whole milk or cream
▢2 tablespoons corn starch
▢cheese, green onions, bacon bits as desired for serving
Instructions
In a large soup pot over medium-high heat, cook bacon until browned.
Add onion and celery, cooking and stirring until the onion starts to brown. Add garlic, salt, thyme and pepper and cook 1 minute.
Stir in broth, scraping the bottom of the pot to remove any browned bits.
Add potatoes and corn. Stir, bring to a simmer, and reduce heat to medium.
Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes until potatoes are tender. Reduce heat to low.
Combine milk and corn starch and gradually whisk into soup mixture, a little at a time, until thickened slightly.
Serve as desired.
