Succulent Low Carb Mustard Maple Glazed Ribs
I am huge fan of BBQ in all of it's glorious forms. The problem I've encountered is that most BBQ is overflowing with carbs and hidden sugar. That's why I decided to make a low carb mustard & maple sauce that has a little bit of heat and sweetness but is perfect for ribs. This is a great recipe for low carb, Keto, lazy Keto, paleo, and whole 30 diets & lifestyles.

Moms Maple Syrup BBQ Sauce Ribs
These ribs hit different, as the kids would say. Sweeter, but not cloying or overpowering, with just a hint of heat, but packed end-to-end with flavour with a wonderfully flavourful glaze!
Special thanks to Smokin's Joe's Pit BBQ channel for the idea of putting two things together, reducing and making the glaze - in my cook, maple syrup and BBQ sauce. Be sure and follow /subscribe to his channel - it is great!
For these ribs I follow the Meathead rib process - dry brine first, then use his Magic Dust rib rub, which has no salt and is brown sugar forward. If you don't regularly visit Meathead's site and /or own his book, you are really missing out:
The BBQ sauce is provided by my friends at Good Food For Good - be sure and give it a try, very excellent and all plant-based ingredients! They ship direct to home in Canada - check it out at
