How To make Ground Beef and Potato Casserole
1 Lb. ground beef
4 Medium Irish potatoes
2 Medium onions
1/2 Stick butter
1/2 C. water
Make small beef patties and set aside. Peel potatoes and slice thinly. Peel onions and slice thinly. Melt butter in frying pan. Place onions in butter and lightly cook, just until transparent. Remove and place beef patties in butter. Brown quickly. Do not cook done. Place the potatoes in bottom of casserole dish with beef patties and onions on top. Pour water into pan in which onions were cooked and then pour over potatoes. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes.

Ground Beef and Mashed Potatoes Casserole

salt, pepper, baby carrots, peas, milk, meat

Preheat the oven to 330 degrees F/165 degrees C.
Heat a cast-iron skillet to a medium high temperature.
Add the ground beef and stir fry it until it turns a brown color.
Add the baby carrots and peas on top.
Put the mixture in a glass oven pan.
Boil the potatoes in a saucepan, with salt.
Mash the potatoes, add milk.
Use a piping bag to cover the ground beef and baby carrots with mashed potatoes.
Cook in the oven for 25 minutes.

2 lbs Russet potatoes (sliced and par-boiled)
8 oz cheddar cheese (shredded)
2 Tbsp butter (for baking dish)
9 x 13 baking dish
* Beef Mixture*
1 lbs lean ground beef
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
1 small onion
1/2 small bell pepper (optional)
3 cloves garlic
1 Tbsp dried chives
1 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
1/2 tsp granulated garlic powder
1/2 tsp granulated onion powder
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
4 Tbsp unsalted butter
5 Tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups low sodium beef broth
1 tsp Kitchen Bouquet (optional)
BECHAMEL SAUCE
4 Tbsp unsalted butter
5 Tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups whole milk
pinch of salt
pinch of freshly grated nutmeg

Ground Beef and Hash Brown Potato Casserole Recipe
INGREDIENTS:
30 oz. frozen hash browns - thawed
1 pd. ground beef
1 cup diced onions
1 1/2 cups diced mushrooms
1 cup frozen peas
4 cloves minced garlic
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1/2 can milk
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese - divided
salt and pepper to taste
In a skillet on med high heat add ground beef. Chop and cook until no longer pink.
Drain excess fat.
Add onions, mushrooms and pinch of black pepper.
Cook and stir for 3-5 minutes or until onions change color.
Add frozen peas and minced garlic.
Cook and stir for one minute and then remove from heat.
In large bowl add thawed hash browns, cream of soups, half of shredded cheeze, milk and black pepper.
Mix well to combine.
Add meat/vegetable mixture to hash browns and stir to combine.
Pour mixture into lightly greased 9 x 13 baking dish and level out.
Sprinkle top with other half of cheese.
Bake 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until slightly golden and bubbly.
Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Garnish with chopped chives.
Serve and enjoy.
