How To make Ground Beef Pie with Creamed Potato Topping
1 Lb. ground beef
1/4 C. undiluted cream of mushroom soup
1 egg
beaten
1/4 C. toasted bread crumbs
1 C. chopped green pepper
salt and pepper to taste Potato Topping: equivalent of 6 servings of instant potato mix 4 Oz. sour cream
1 C. grated cheese
2 Strips bacon :
fried crisp
Mix all ingredients well. Place in a ungreased 10-inch pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Pour off excess fat from meat.
Potato Topping: Follow package directions for potatoes, substituting sour cream for milk. Carefully spread over top of meat pie. Sprinkle cheese on top. Criss cross bacon on top. Broil for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Allow to cool 5 minutes before serving.

Hello There Friends, Today I'm going to be making one of my favorites. Shepherd's Pie, or since it's made with beef, a Cottage Pie. This is so delicious and you must make it with my buttery yukon gold mashed potatoes. Remember to get a perfect slice you must refrigerate it and then reheat it after cutting. 2 lbs Russet potatoes (sliced and par-boiled)
8 oz cheddar cheese (shredded)
2 Tbsp butter (for baking dish)
9 x 13 baking dish
* Beef Mixture*
1 lbs lean ground beef
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
1 small onion
1/2 small bell pepper (optional)
3 cloves garlic
1 Tbsp dried chives
1 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp seasoned salt
1/2 tsp granulated garlic powder
1/2 tsp granulated onion powder
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
4 Tbsp unsalted butter
5 Tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups low sodium beef broth
1 tsp Kitchen Bouquet (optional)
BECHAMEL SAUCE
4 Tbsp unsalted butter
5 Tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups whole milk
pinch of salt
pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
