How To make Cinnamon Rolls(Cake Mix Dough)
ROLLS:
18 oz YELLOW CAKE MIX (1 BOX)
5 c FLOUR
2 pk YEAST
1/2 c WARM WARM (110-120 DEG)
2 c WARM WATER
FILLING:
1/4 c SOFTENED BUTTER
1/2 c SUGAR
2 ts CINNAMON
IN A LARGE MIXING BOWL, COMBINE CAKE MIX AND 3 CUPS FLOUR. IN A MEDIUM BOWL SOFTEN YEAST IN 1/2 C WARM WATER. ADD TO FLOUR MIX AND STIR IN 2 CUPS WARM WATER. ADD FLOUR AS NEEDED TO MAKE DOUGH WORKABLE. PLACE BOWL IN WARM PLACE, COVER AND LET RISE FOR ABOUT 1 HOUR OR UNTIL DOUBLED. DIVIDE IN HALF AND ROLL INTO A RECTANGLE ABOUT 1/2 INCH THICK. COVER WITH BUTTER, CINNAMON AND SUGAR. ROLL INTO A LOG STARTING FROM THE LONG SIDE. CUT OFF IN 1/2 INCH THICK PIECES. PLACE ON COOKIE SHEET WITH SIDES TOUCHING. REPEAT WITH REMAINING DOUGH. COVER ROLLS AND LET RISE UNTIL DOUBLED. BAKE IN 375 DEG F. OVEN FOR 10 TO 15 MINUTES. THESE ROLLS FREEZE WELL. Per serving - for 36 rolls per batch - 172 calories, 1.4 gm fat. (Made with low fat yellow cake mix). Percent of calories from fat 7.5 %.

1 box cinnamon swirl mix (Krusteaz)
2 sticks unsalted butter
Preheat oven 350, use a 9x13 baking dish, put cinnamon rolls i first then follow with frosting, then cake mix and put brown sugar pack on then butter cut up in squares, bake 45-55 minutes, let cool and enjoy.

1 cup warm milk
2 t. active dry yeast
or fast acting
1 t. sugar
3 oz. melted butter
1/3 cup sugar
1 T. vanilla
4 egg yolks
3 to 4 1/2 cups all purpose flour , keep a soft dough,
1/4 t. Salt
filling
3/4 stick melted butter
2 cups brown sugar
cinnamon
icing
2 cups Confectioners sugar
1 T. butter
milk or cream enough to make icing smooth and spreadable

Cake Batter Cinnamon Rolls- with yoyomax12
These cinnamon rolls are a quirky and delicious combination of birthday cake flavour and traditional cinnamon buns. Yummy!
Recipes using cake mixes playlist:
2 1/2 cups very warm water
1 box Rainbow Chip cake mix (dry mix only)
1 tsp vanilla
2 packages instant active dry yeast
5 cups bread flour (I subbed all purpose flour)
Filling:
1/2 cup butter softened
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup yellow cake mix (dry powder)
cinnamon (about 2 tbsp)
Sprinkles (about 1/4 cup)
Frosting:
1/4 cup butter softened
1/2 cup yellow cake mix (dry powder)
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups powdered sugar
3-6 tbsp milk or cream
Sprinkles for decoration
Add yeast and water to a large bowl and stir, add in the rainbow chip cake mix and flour. Stir and knead with a dough hook attachment for about 3 minutes.
Remove dough and place in a clean greased bowl, cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled (about 1.5 hours). I put mine in my oven with just the light on.
Once doubled, turn out onto a heavily floured surface and pat out into a large rectangle (at least 9x13). Spread butter over surface, sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, yellow cake mix and sprinkles.
Roll up from short or long end (this will change the size of the rolls) and cut into 1.5 to 2 inch slices and place flat side down in a greased baking dish. The recipe recommends 12 rolls per pan, with at least 2 inches of space between them.
Cover rolls with some greased plastic wrap and allow to rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Bake at 350F for 1-20 minutes until browned.
While cinnamon rolls are baking mix up the frosting ingredients (except sprinkles), adding only enough water to make a spreadable frosting (not too runny).
Spread frosting over warm rolls and sprinkle with additional sprinkles.
These freeze well.
