Karen Mintzias 1 lb Spaghetti 1 c Butter or margarine 1/2 lb Kasseri cheese, grated 1/4 lb Romano cheese, grated 1/4 c Chopped parsley Cook spaghetti until tender but firm to the bite. Drain. Melt butter in large skillet and cook just until it turns brown. Meanwhile, combine cheeses. Place spaghetti on warm platter, sprinkle with mixed cheeses, then drizzle with browned butter. Greek Pasta with Mizithra & Hot Olive Oil
Ingredients o 500 Greek pastitsio No. 2 pasta o 1/2 cup olive oil o ½-1 cup mizithra cheese grated
Μακαρόνια με Μυζήθρα
Instructions 1. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Rinse the spaghetti and drain. 2. To prepare the pasta, layer some mizithra cheese into the bottom of a dish. Then add some pasta on top of the cheese. Continue the process until the dish is full. 3. Heat up the olive oil until hot and then pour it over the pasta dish.
Εκτέλεση 1. Μαγειρεύουμε τα μακαρόνια ακολουθώντας τις οδηγίες παρασκευής πάνω στο πακέτο. 2. Σε ένα μεγάλο πυρέξ στρώνουμε τον πάτο με μυζήθρα κατόπιν τοποθετούμε μια στρώση μακαρόνια και ακολουθούμε με μια στρώση μυζήθρας. Συνεχίζουμε τις στρώσεις έως ότου τελειώσουν τα μακαρόνια. 3. Καβουρντίζουμε το λάδι και το περιχύνουμε πάνω στα μακαρόνια και ανακατεύουμε.
