CAKE:
1 pk Yellow cake mix
8 oz Sour cream
1/2 c Sugar
1 c Chopped pecans
1/2 c Oil
4 Eggs
StrEUSEL:
2 tb Confectioner's sugar
1 ts Chopped nuts
1 ts Cinnamon
TOPPING:
2 tb Brown sugar
1 ts Cinnamon
Mix cake mix, sugar and oil well. Add eggs, beat well. Add sour cream and nuts. Grease bundt pan with butter. Mix and sprinkle streuel mix in bottom of pan, pour1/2 cake mix into pan.Top with topping mix. Pour rest of batter in. OLD SCHOOL SOCK IT TO ME CAKE(FRIDAY NIGHT CAKE SEGMENT)
This a cake that i was raised on
'We had this cake on a regular basis
very easy and simple
For the Cake
1 cup unsalted butter , room temperature
2 ¼ cups granulated sugar
3 cups all-purpose flour
6 eggs large, room temperature
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon kosher salt
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 cup sour cream
For the Filling
1 cup pecans toasted and chopped
⅓ cup packed brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
For the Icing
2 cups powdered sugar
3 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
For the Filling
In a medium bowl combine the chopped toasted pecans, brown sugar and cinnamon. Mix well in set aside.
For the Cake
Preheat oven to 325F and coat the inside of your bundt pan with baking spray, or butter and flour it. Sift flour, baking soda and salt in a large bowl then whisk together and set aside.
Cream butter and sugar on high for about 4 minutes or until light and fluffy. Scrape the bowl down halfway through.
Add the eggs one at a time while mixing on medium. Scrape bowl down as needed.
Dump in the flour mixture and mix on low speed until just combined then add the sour cream and vanilla and mix until combined. Scrape down the bowl one last time and mix any stray bits in.
Add half of the batter to your bundt pan then sprinkle the pecan filling over the top and add the remaining batter. Smooth the top with a spatula then bake for about 70 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean. Allow cake to rest in pan for 5 minutes then invert onto a wire rack and allow to cool completely.
For the Icing
Sift powdered sugar into a large bowl, add the milk and vanilla then whisk until smooth. You can mix in milk a teaspoon at a time if needed to thin the consistency out a bit. Spoon icing over the cooled cake.

Duncan Hines Golden Cake Mix
4 large eggs
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/3 vegetable oil
1/4 cup water
1cup sourcream
Streusel:
2tbsp packed brown sugar
2tsp ground cinnamon
Glaze:
2 cups powdered sugar
1tbsp milk
2tsp quality vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 375 and bake for 35 to 40 minutes

1/2 Tsp of Himalayan Salt
3 Cups of Dixie Crystal Sugar

1 Cup of BreakStone Sour Cream
2 Tsp of Vanilla Extract

BAKING INSTRUCTIONS:
▪️ Bake in the oven at 350 degrees F for 35-45 minutes.
▪️ Let cool for 10 minutes in the pan on a wire cooling rack, then flip/transfer to the cake plate you will serve it on.
▪️ Let the cake cool for an additional 20 minutes (30 minutes total) before glazing.

▪️ 1 Yellow Cake Mix, reserve 2 tbsp for streusel (I love Duncan Hines)
▪️ 1 8 oz sour cream
▪️ 1/3 cup canola oil (or 5 1/3 tbsp butter, melted and cooled)
▪️ 1/4 cup sugar
▪️ 1/4 cup water
▪️ 4 eggs
▪️ 2 tsp vanilla
Streusel
▪️ 2 tbsp dry cake mix
▪️ 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
▪️ 1/4 cup brown sugar
▪️ 3 tsp cinnamon
▪️ 1/2 tsp nutmeg
Glaze
▪️ 1 1/2-4 tbsp milk (for thicker glaze, start with 1 1/2 tbsp and add more as needed)
▪️ 1 cup powdered sugar
▪️ 2 tbsp nuts, roughly chopped (walnuts or pecans)
