How To make Rich Chocolate Brownies
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup butter or margarine -- melted
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup baking cocoa
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
FROSTING: 3 Tablespoons butter or margarine -- melted
3 Tablespoons baking cocoa
2 Tablespoons warm water
1 teaspoon instant coffee
1 1/2 cups confectioner's sugar
In a mixing bowl, beat sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add butter; mix well. Combine dry ingredients; add to batter and mix well. Pour into a greased 8" square baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until brownies test done with a wooden pick. Cool in pan on a wire rack. For frosting, combine butter, cocoa, water and coffee, mix well. Gradually stir in sugar until smooth, adding additional warm water if necessary to achieve a spreading consistency. Frost the brownies.

FOR FUDGY BROWNIES
100g chopped chocolates
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 large eggs
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
FOR GANACHE
1 cup chopped chocolates
1/2 cup all purpose cream (or heavy cream
Chopped peanuts for toppings
DIRECTIONS
In a bowl, start melting the chopped dark chocolate with the unsalted butter using a microwave or double-boiler. Stir until completely melted. Let it cool for a few minutes.
Once cooled down a little, add granulated sugar and brown sugar. Mix until combined. Then add eggs one at a time. Stir in between until all eggs are added and well-combined. Then add vanilla extract and salt. Mix well.
Using a clean finger, check if the sugar is completely dissolved. Once ready, sift the flour, baking soda, and cocoa powder. Make sure to sift properly to prevent lumping parts. Then give it a good mix once more.
Prepare an 8×8 baking pan greased with butter or oil. Line with parchment or baking paper for easier unmolding.
Then, gently pour the brownie mixture to the baking pan. Tap against the table to remove air bubbles.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20-25 mins. Do the toothpick test to see if it’s ready. After that, let it cool and set.
FOR CHOCOLATE GANACHE
Combine chopped chocolates and heavy cream in a heat-proof bowl. Microwave for a minute until melted. Stir until completely melted and shiny. (you can also do a double-boiler method)
Pour the hot chocolate ganache onto the brownie. Top it with any kind of roasted nuts to suit your liking. Chill for at least 4 hours.
Finally, you can cut your fudgy chocolate brownie into small bite-sized cubes and set it in a small cupcake liner. Enjoy!

Rich Chocolate Brownies
Here is the recipe. It is delicious. Send me a picture when you make them for your school children.
1 stick salted butter
1/2 cup solid shorting
4 Tablespoons cocoa
2 Cups granulated sugar
4 eggs ( room temperature)
1 cup All Purpose -White Lily flour
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup Priesters Pecans
Preheat oven to -350 degrees
Grease and flour a 9x13 class. dish
In a saucepan melt butter and shortening
Add cocoa and stir well with a whisk
Add sugar and stir well.
Turn off the burner and let the mixture cool for about 5 minutes
Add one egg at a time and stir after each one.
Add flour -stir with a whisk
Add vanilla- stir
Add pecan pieces
Put batter into a casserole dish and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
I baked mine 40. But remember all ovens cook differently.
Just check it with a toothpick at 35 minutes to see if it needs to cook longer.
When the children come home from school they will be so happy to have a big brownie with cold milk in a tin cup.
Daddy would be excited too. Make them happy.

In this video we will see how to make brownie recipe in Tamil. There are two types of brownies fudgy brownies and cakey brownies. This is the fudgy chocolate brownie version of the recipe. Brownie is a much denser flavor, chewy version of cake. This recipe can also be made in pressure cooker and you can follow the instructions to set up the cooker in my previous videos.
My preferred way of eating the brownies is to place two brownie pieces in a ceramic plate, microwave for 30 seconds and then place a scoop of ice cream on them. And enjoy this brownie with ice cream. If you have a sizzler plate you can make sizzling brownie as well.
