How To make Pecan Pound Cake
Ingredients
1
cup
butter or margarine, softened
2
cup
sugar
6
each
eggs, separated
3
cup
cake flour
1/4
teaspoon
soda
1
cup
yogurt, plain, or sour cream
2-4
cup
pecans, chopped
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Set aside about 1/4 cup flour. Combine remaining flour and soda. Add to creamed mixture alternately with yogurt, beating well after each addition. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Dredge pecans in reserved flour, and fold into batter.
Spoon batter into a greased and floured 10 inch tube pan or Bundt pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1-1/2 hours. Cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.

1 butter pecan boxed cake ( I found mine at Walmart but if you can't find this please use butter cake mix . It will be fine )
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 stick of butter ( melted or diced )
Cook on 375 for about 30 mins
For the glaze
1 can sweetened condensed milk
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped pecans ( plus more for topping )
1 tablespoon of butter
*cook glaze on low/ med heat until it comes to a slight boil , then remove from heat and add in butter and chop pecans.. let sit for 5 minutes

This pecan pie pound cake has all the flavors of your favorite Thanksgiving pie in cake form. This easy to make cake can be served as a dessert or enjoyed as a mid afternoon snack with a cup of coffee.

INGREDIENTS:
For the Pound Cake:
3 cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon kosher salt or fine sea salt
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 cup buttermilk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 cup 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
½ cup vegetable shortening
3 cups granulated sugar
5 large eggs
For the Pecan Pie Filling:
2 cups rough-chopped pecans toasted
3 eggs
½ cup granulated sugar
¼ cup packed dark brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
3 tablespoons melted butter unsalted
Juice of ½ lemon

2 1/2 cup sugar
3 cup all purpose flour
5 eggs
3 1/2 stick of butter
2 teaspoon butter flavor
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup buttermilk
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup pecans chopped and toasted
bake on 350 for 50 to 60 minutes
glaze -
2 cup powder sugar
4 tablespoon of heavy cream ( more if needed)
2 tablespoon melted butter
