How To make Frijoles Negros (Black Beans
1/2 lb Salt pork
1 lg Onion, chopped
2 Cloves garlic, minced
- or pressed 2 1/2 c Dried black beans
- about 1 pound 1 ts Crumbled dry epazote leaves
5 c Water
4 c Beef or chicken broth
Salt Cook pork over medium high heat in a 4 or 5 qt. pan until fat begins to melt. Add onion and garlic and cook, stirring often, until onion is soft (about 5 min.). Sort beans and discard debris; rinse well. Add beans and epazote to pan and pour in broth and water. Raise heat to high and bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 2 to 2 1/2 hours (or until beans are tender). If beans are too soupy, boil over medium high heat, stirring often until thick enough. Season with salt. 6 to 8 servings.

Refried black beans typical side dish from Mexico and Central America. We prepare them in the simplest way. In another video we will upload some other ways to prepare them adding other ingredients.
Schwarzes Bohnenmus ist eine typische Beilage aus Mexiko und Mittelamerika. Hier bereiten wir sie auf einfachste Weise zu. In einem anderen Video werden wir andere Zubereitungsarten vorstellen, indem wir andere Zutaten hinzufügen.

------------------- ENGLISH ---------------------
Ingredients:
• 250 gr. Black beans from the pressure cooker (Follow our recipe:
• 100ml Bean broth or water *
• ¼ fine chopped Onion
• 1 tbsp. Sunflower or corn oil
• Salt
TIP: If you are not vegan or vegetarian, you can substitute sunflower or corn oil for pork lard, it gives the beans a tasteful flavor.
Blend the beans and the bean broth or water (if you do not have enough broth). Reserve.
Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat and add ½ tablespoon of oil. When the oil is hot, fry the chopped onion in it for a couple of minutes or until the onion turns transparent. Then add the other ½ tablespoon of oil and immediately the ground beans. Lower the heat. Add salt to taste. Stir fry for approx. 5 minutes and they will be ready to serve.
* It depends on the consistency that you prefer your refried beans, you will need to add more broth or water. To use them as a side dish, your paste should not be too runny.

TIPP: Wenn Sie nicht vegan oder vegetarisch sind, können Sie Schweineschmalz anstatt Sonnenblumen- oder Maisöl verwenden. Damit erhalten die Bohnen einen geschmackvollen Geschmack.
Mischen Sie die Bohnen und die Bohnenbrühe oder Wasser (wenn Sie nicht genug Brühe haben) und beiseite legen.
Eine Pfanne bei mittlerer Hitze vorheizen und ½ Esslöffel Öl dazufügen. Wenn das Öl heiß ist, braten Sie die gehackte Zwiebel ein paar Minuten lang oder bis die Zwiebel durchsichtig wird. * Es hängt auf Ihrer beliebten Konsistenz an, müssen Sie mehr oder weniger Brühe und/oder Wasser hinzufügen. Um sie als Beilage zu verwenden, sollte Ihre Paste nicht zu flüssig sein.
------------------- ESPAñOL ---------------------
Ingredientes:
• 250 gr. Frijoles de la olla (Sigue nuestra receta:
• 100ml Caldo de frijoles o agua*
• ¼ Cebolla finamente picada
• 1 cda. Aceite de girasol ó maíz
• Sal
TIP: Si no eres vegano o vegetariano, puedes sustituir el aceite de girasol o de maíz por manteca de cerdo, quedan también muy ricos.
Licúar los frijoles de la olla y el caldo de los frijoles o agua (si no tienes suficiente caldo). Reservar.
Precalentar una sartén a fuego medio-alto y agregar ½ cucharada de aceite. Cuando el aceite este caliente, sofreír en él la cebolla picada por un par de minutos o hasta que la cebolla se vuelva transparente. Agregar entonces la otra ½ cucharada de aceite e inmediatamente los frijoles molidos. Bajar el fuego a bajo. Agregar sal al gusto. Sofreír por aprox. 5 minutos y estarán listos para servir.
* Agrega más dependiendo de la consistencia con la que desees tus frijoles refritos. Para usarlos como guarnición, deberá quedarte una pasta que no sea demasiado líquida.

Today I show you how to cook your own black beans! Super healthy and delicious :) You can do so many things with beans!
In this video I say that I soak the beans for 24 hours, but overnight or 8 hours minimum is just fine!!
When your done cooking these beans they last about 5-7 days in the fridge.

12 oz pack of dry black beans
2-3 tbsp olive oil
1 yellow onion
1 green bell pepper
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp dried oregano
2 tbsp white distilled vinegar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp cumin
