Banana Cream Cheesecake | Dessert
Nobody will turn down a banana cream pie, but a cheesecake? Don't need to ask me twice! This Banana Cream Cheesecake takes things a step further made in single serving mason jars, layered with fresh banana slices, a pudding-cheesecake blend, and vanilla cookies.
These are best eaten freshly made and topped with whipped cream and another cookie (or two). The banana flavor really adds a tropical oomph to the mix that you won't want to put down!

This creamy no-bake cheesecake is topped with bananas caramelized in rum — a decadent and delicious dessert!
INGREDIENTS
Crust:
•200g graham cracker crust
•65g unsalted butter, melted
Filling:
•400g cream cheese, room temperature
•400ml whipping cream
•80g sugar
•¼ cup lemon juice
•½ tsp vanilla extract
•2 tbsp rum (or 2 tsp rum extract)
•2 tsp powdered gelatin
•2 ½ tbsp water
Topping:
•¼ cup unsalted butter
•¼ cup brown sugar
•¼ cup rum
•2 bananas, sliced into 1/4” thick slices
LET'S GET COOKING...
1.Make the crust: First, make the base of the cheesecake. Mix together the melted butter and crumbled graham crackers, then press them into the bottom of an 8-inch spring form pan. Then place this in the fridge while you make the filling.
2.To make the filling, place the cream cheese in a bowl and with an electric mixer until smooth. Add the sugar and combine. Then add the whipping cream, lemon juice, vanilla extract and rum and mix until smooth. Mix together the gelatin and water in a small bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Add the gelatin to the filling, and mix together with an electric mixer until fully combined. Pour the filling into the cake pan and return to the fridge to chill until set (approx. 3 hours).
3.To make the topping: Melt the butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add and dissolve the brown sugar. Add the rum and cook for 3-4 minutes. Add the sliced bananas and cook until tender, 3-5 minutes, flipping halfway though. Remove from the heat and cool the topping until warm.
4.To serve, spoon the topping onto the cheesecake and enjoy!
We made Home Cooking in light of one objective, to interface the world through video. Probably the most bringing together and extraordinary moments of our life revolve around a meal, the place where individuals meet up. We realize that we can't do this single-handedly, nor would we need to. It will take a group of profoundly enthusiastic individuals. Fortunately, home cooking, similar to you, from around the globe are as of now making stunning content, groups and drawing in with your enthusiasm. Share it to others and touch one more individual every day.

16 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1 (3.4 ounces) box Instant banana cream pudding
3/4 cup sour cream
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 tablespoons lemon juice

In a medium bowl mixed pudding with 2 cups of milk like on the back of the box says, mix well then set aside.
In a large bowl using an electric hand mixer, beat cream cheese with lemon juice and vanilla till fluffy.
Now add the sour cream and powdered sugar and mix well.
Now let's add heavy whipping cream and mix for about 4 minutes until it gets very thick.
Now finally mix in the prepared banana pudding and combine well.
Divide cheese cake mixture into two graham cracker pie crusts, cover them and let them chill in the fridge for a few hours to set up.
To serve, top the pie with whipped topping and enjoy!
Garnish maybe with some sliced bananas or graham cracker crumbs or drizzle some caramel sauce or even chocolate sauce if you would like!
