MARBLE POUND CAKE l Pinoy juicy bites
Rich and moist with finely textured crumb. Easy to baked in just 45 minutes. Enjoy this quick and delicious homemade marble pound cake.
Ingredients:
-Softened unsalted butter 120g
-Sugar 100g
-Egg 120g (2 egg + half of egg to get 120g) i used medium egg
-Cake flour 110g
-Salt 2g
-Baking powder 2g
-Milk 30ml
-Cocoa powder 10g
-Extra softened unsalted butter (greasing the pan)
*Bake in preheated oven at 170° C for 40-45 minutes.
Tips:
~ If the top of the pound cake is browning too quickly, tent a piece of non-stick foil on top.
~bake for 40-45 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the middle of the cake comes out clean.
~ Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.

Marble Pound Cake - very rich, very decadent and very moist
Step-by-step Marble Pound Cake recipe. This rich marble pound cake is moist and oh-so-decadent! Made with real butter, you can really taste the rich aroma and we promise you, one slice is never enough!
Prep Time: 10 min
Cook Time: 50 min
Total Time: 1 hr
Yield: 1 serving (17 x 7.5 x 7.5cm cake tin)
Ingredients
100g butter
100g sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
2 eggs
85g self-raising flour
1 tbsp milk
15g cocoa powder
Instructions
Grease and line the cake tin. Sift the self-raising flour. Sift the cocoa powder. Beat the eggs lightly.
Cream butter in a bowl. Add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add vanilla extract. Add the egg in little by little and beat until incorporated. Add self-raising flour and fold with a spatula. Add milk when there is little powder left, then fold until glossy.
Divide the batter into two. Add cocoa powder in one of the batter and fold until incorporated. Scoop the plain batter and the cocoa batter alternately into the cake tin. Using a small spatula or knife, swirl gently through the batters to marble. Tap the cake tin on table a few times to remove air bubbles.
Bake in preheated oven at 170°C for 20 minutes. Carefully take the cake out and dent the center with a damp knife. Quickly put it back in the oven and bake for another 30 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean. Leave to cool on a wire rack.

Very light, very elegant and delicious marble pound cake????. One piece will not be enough at all...
Ingredients:
2/3 cup unsalted soft butter (150 g)(1 1/4 sticks)
1 1/2 cups sugar (300 g)
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 large eggs
3/4 cup milk (180 ml)
2 cups all purpose flour (300 g)
2 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
4 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder to add on half of the batter
- Bake at 350 F/180 C for about 50-55 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.

INGREDIENTS:
225g unsalted Butter, softened
225g Fine Granulated sugar
4 Eggs
1 Tsp Vanilla essence
225g All Purpose Flour
2 Tsp Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp Salt
2 Tbsp Milk
4 Tbsp Cocoa powder
4 Tbsp Hot Milk
1 Tsp instant Coffee
Bake at 180C for 55-60mins or till toothpick inserted comes clean. I used a 9 by 3.5inch bread mould loaf Tin. The link for it is below:
Tip: Blooming the cocoa with hot milk or water is essential to keep the cocoa from sucking all the moisture from the batter. Adding coffee gives a darker tint and also enhances the cocoa taste. Cream the butter and Sugar for atleast 3mins on low speed. It helps to give a tender crumb. Keep watching after 50-55mins of baking time as the top can get burnt if kept even for a few mins longer. Slight cracks at the top is normal for a pound cake.

1 TSP OF VANILLA FLAVOR
1 TSP OF ALMOND EXTRACT
I ADD THE PHILADELPHIA CREAM CHEESE AND AND BUTTER MIX REALLY WELL UNTIL YOU HAVE A CREAMY TEXTURE, I THEN ADD THE SUGAR A CUP AT A TIME WHILE IT'S MIXING, ( I MIX ON HIGH START OFF SLOW AND INCREASE THE SPEED AS IT MIX TOGETHER) . I THEN ADD THE CAKE FLOUR 1 CUP AT A TIME ( ON SLOW MIX SPEED GRADUALLY INCREASING YOUR SPEED) THEN I ADD THE EGGS ONE AT A TIME ( IF MORE THAN ONE FALL IN IT'S OK) YOU JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE THAT THE EGGS ARE MIX WELL INTO THE BATTER. I THEN ADD VANILLA FLAVOR MIX WELL, ALMOND EXTRACT MIX WELL, ON HIGH. ONCE EVERYTHING IS INCORPORATED TOGETHER.
TAKE HALF OF YOUR BATTER OUT INTO ANOTHER BOWL AND YOU WILL HALF OF THE BATTER STILL IN THE MIXING BOWL. WITH A TABLESPOON ADD 3 BIG SPOON-FULL OF THE HERSEYS COCO POWDER MIX WELL, DEPENDING HOW CHOCOLATE YOU WANT IT ( I TASTE MINES AS WELL AND IF IT TASTE TO BITTER I ADD ANOTHER SPOONFUL.)
IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE A SILKY BROWN SMOOTH TEXTURE.
GET YOUR BUNDT PAN SPRAY REALLY WELL WITH YOUR PAM CAKE SPRAY AND ADD YOUR BATTER IN LAYERS YOU CAN TAKE A SPOON AND DO SWIRLS WITH THE BATTER . I DON'T TRY TO ADD EVENLY I LIKE THE MESSY LOOK FOR MARBLE . AND COOK AT 325 DEGREES FOR AN HOUR AND 15 MINUTES.
TAKE OUT THE OVER FLIP ON TO A PLATE YOUR GOOD TO GO. I LIKE MINES RIGHT OUT THE OVEN BUT YOU CAN LET COOL UNTIL YOU CAN'T TAKE THE SMELL ANY LONGER LOL.
