How To make Chocolate Chip Date Nut Cake
1/4 c Boiling water
1/2 c Chopped dates
1/2 c Sugar
1/3 c Butter or margarine,
-at room temperature 1 Egg
1 c Flour, sifted
1/4 t Salt
1/2 t Baking powder
2 t Unsweetened cocoa
1/4 c Sugar
3/4 c Semi-sweet chocolate bits
1/4 c Nuts
1. In a small bowl pour 1/4 cup boiling water over chopped dates. Let cool.
2. Lightly grease an 8-inch square, heat-resistant, non-metallic baking
pan. Set aside. 3. Cream 1/2 cup sugar and 1/3 cup butter until light and fluffy.
4. Add egg to creamed sugar mixture. Blend well.
5. Sift together flour, salt, baking powder and powdered cocoa.
6. Add date and flour mixture alternately to creamed butter and sugar
mixture. 7. Pour batter into prepared pan. Smooth top of batter with spatula.
8. In small bowl combine 1/4 cup sugar, semi-sweet chocolate bits and nuts.
Sprinkle topping mixture on top of batter and Press topping into batter, lightly. 9. Heat. covered with clear plastic wrap in Microwave Oven 7 minutes or
until a toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean. Let cool in cake pan 10 minutes

Today I am showing you how to make the classic tea time cake that we all know and love - Date and Walnut Cake. I am making it eggless and turning it into a loaf cake! It literally takes less than 10 minutes to make this tea cake batter and the oven does the rest of the work!
Eggless Date and Walnut Tea Time Loaf Cake:
Ingredients:
200 grams milk, hot
200 grams pitted dates, chopped (Weigh the dates after removing the seeds)
120 grams yogurt, room temperature
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
240 grams All Purpose flour
1/4th teaspoon salt
120 grams caster sugar
50 grams walnuts + 1 teaspoon All Purpose flour for coating
75 grams oil
Chopped Walnuts for topping
Note:
I have used a 7-inch Loaf Tin
Preheat oven to 140 C. Bake the Loaf Cake at 140 C for 90 minutes (1 hour, 30 minutes). A skewer or knife inserted in the centre must emerge clean.

This Chocolate Date Walnut Cake recipe is perfect to give company to your tea. Or, Chocolate Cake to go with breakfast, Walnut Date Cake with coffee.
Ingredients
1.5 cup All Purpose Flour
3 tbsp Cornflour
1/4 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1/2 cup Sugar
3 Eggs
1/2 cup Oil Any neutral Refined Oil
3/4 tsp Baking Powder
¼ cup Chopped Walnuts
¼ cup Chopped Dates
⅓ cup Milk - Add extra if needed. 1 tbsp at a time, around 2 tbsp.

One Blender Date & Walnut Cake ✨❤️
Here’s how you can make this delicious Date Walnut Cake - Blender Cake at home ☺️
Ingredients :
Flour - 1 1/2 Cup
Brown Sugar - 1/3rd Cup
Dates - 3/4th Cup (de-seeded)
Baking Soda - 1/4th Cup
Water - 1/2 Cup
Milk - 1/4th Cup
Baking Powder - 2 Tsps
Baking Soda - 1/4th Tsp
Salt - 1/4th Tsp
Cinnamon Pwd - 1/4th Tsp
Curd - 6 Tbsps
Oil - 6 Tbsps
Milk - 5-6 Tbsps (Add more if needed)
Vanilla Essence - 1/4th Tsp
Walnuts - 1/2 Cup
Chocolate Chip - 1/4th Cup
Process :
* To a saucepan, add in the seedless dates along with some milk, water & baking soda - allow it to come to a boil & cook the dates until soft & mushy
* Let the dates cool down slightly - transfer it to a blender jar along with the curd, oil, milk, vanilla essence, baking powder, baking soda, flour, cinnamon powder & salt - blend until a smooth, homogeneous batter is achieved (Do not Over-mix)
* Transfer the batter to a greased & lined 7 inch cake tin & top it up with chopped walnuts & chocolate chips
* Bake in a pre-heated 180C oven for 35-40 minutes/ until a skewer inserted comes out clean
* Allow the cake to cool down slightly, Slice & Enjoy ????✨

This banana bread is incredibly tender, moist and flavorful, loaded with ripe bananas and chocolate chips.
INGREDIENTS
3 large ripe bananas
2 eggs
3/4 cup granulated sugar (150g)
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup oil (80ml)
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (170g)
1/3 cup cocoa powder (35g)
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup chocolate chips or chunks (130g)
Bake for 50-60 minutes at 350°F (180°C).
