Black Cherry Luxardo Kirsch Cake | Easy Cherry Cake Recipe | IEWI COOK

This tasty full of flavour cherry cake is made with black cherries steeped in syrup soaked in Luxardo Kirsch. Great for any occasion and excellent as a snack, for breakfast and as a cherry dessert.
Ingredients
1 Jar of 460g Black Cherries with Syrup in Luxardo Kirsch
4 Large Eggs
100g Soft Light Brown Sugar
250ml Mild Olive Oil
400g Wholemeal Bread Flour.
2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda)
100ml Semi- Skimmed Milk
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Bean Paste
3 Tablespoons Raisins soaked in Alcohol.
1 teaspoon Mixed Spice
½ Teaspoon Ginger powder
½ Teaspoon Cinnamon Powder
¼ Teaspoon Nutmeg
1 Teaspoon Lemon Extract
1 Teaspoon Rosewater
Bake in Preheated Fan Oven at 160 C for 70 Minutes.

Cheery Cherry Pie
There is nothing better than home made pie...In this video, Cherry and Teri are kicking classic apple to the curb. This is a fantastic recipe for both a flaky crust and the sumptuous filling. Follow along with Teri and you'll be the least desperate baker in your neighborhood in no time!
Recipe: Crust 2 1/2 C AP flour, 2 1/2 C cold butter (grated) , approx. 1/3 C ice water, 2 tsp sugar, 1 tsp salt
Cherry filling: 5 C fresh pitted cherries (drain juice) 3/4 C sugar, 1/4 C corn starch, 1 tsp powdered vanilla, 1 TBSP lemon juice, 1 TBSP Frangelica liquor or 1 tsp almond extract, Chill in bowl for 1 hour at least.
Bake once assembled brush with egg wash and sprinkle Turbinado sugar. Place on cookie sheet in 400 degrees oven for approx. 1 hour till golden.
