Changing Tasty's Buttermilk Pancakes Into My Own Easy Breakfast Recipe
Hey Guys! So who doesn't love watching Tasty Buzzfeed's recipe videos? I mean I can happily admit to binge watching their food videos in envy wishing I was at their studios but sometimes I just want to change the recipe to adjust to my own style and taste. Today I adapted a recipe to make these incredibly easy fluffy buttermilk pancakes. All you need is a few simple ingredients and you'll be eating homemade pancakes from scratch in no time.
Disclaimer: I am not a professional but just someone who loves to cook and test things in my kitchen. Hopefully if you try this recipe it'll work for you and if you doesn't you can tweak it to your liking which is all what cooking is about:)
Here's the recipe:
2 1/2 Cups All Purpose Flour
2 Cups Buttermilk (Can Use 1 Cup Butter milk & 1 Cup Regular Whole Milk) Or you can make buttermilk substitute.
4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter Melted
3 Tablespoons Sugar
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Dash of Cinnamon
1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
Instructions:
1. Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon in a bowl set aside.
2. Combine Buttermilk, vanilla extract, eggs, and cooled melted butter into a bowl.
3. Make a well in the center of the bowl with flour and pour in wet ingredients.
4. Use a spatula to combine ingredients together. If batter seems to think add a little bit of milk one teaspoon at a time just so the batter comes together. Let mixture rest for 10-15 minutes.
5. Turn on the stove to medium heat and once the pan is hot add butter and pancakes as seen in video.
6. Wait till bubbles form in batter and flip over to cook another 3-4 minutes. Serve with your favorite toppings and syrup.
