1 1/3 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 large eggs
room temperature 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed 1/2 cup sugar 1/3 cup butter :
melted 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon almond extract 1 6 ounce pkg Brickel bits Beat eggs well; gradually add both sugars and beat until thick and creamy. Add butter and extracts. Combine dry ingredients. Stir flour mixture into butter mixture until moist. fold in 2/3 brickel bits and 1/2 cup nuts, if desired. Pour into greased 9" X 13" pan, and bake 30 minutes. Remove from oven sprinkle with remaining brickel bits. Cool completly. Cut into squares

Heath Bar Crunch
Heath Bar Crunch Recipe:
~ 2 sleeves of saltine crackers (about 56 crackers) ~ 1 cup butter (2 sticks) ~ 1 cup light brown sugar ~ 1/4 tsp baking soda ~ 12 oz milk chocolate chip ~ Heath bits o brickle
Heat oven to 375. Line cookie sheet with foil. Spray with cooking spray and cover with crackers. Melt butter over medium heat, add brown sugar and bring to a boil. Boil for ONE MINUTE ONLY. Remove from heat and add baking soda. Spread over crackers and bake 8 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let melt 2 minutes and then spread over crackers. Sprinkle with bits o brickle. Let cool and place in freezer until set (about 45 minutes). Crack into desired size pieces.
