Quick and Easy Gooey Monkey Bread
I love the aroma of freshly baked coffee cake greeting me first thing in the morning, especially when it's my favorite gooey coffee cake. Not only does it taste absolutely heavenly, it looks awesome for company and can be made ahead of time.
Frozen yeast rolls and butterscotch pudding smothered in a buttery cinnamon sugar mixture come to life as they proof overnight in a Bundt pan. Just pop it in the oven the next morning and serve warm.
I dare anyone to stay in bed when this cake is on the menu!

Recipe Pull-apart Caramel Coffee Cake or Monkey Bread
Recipe - Pull-apart Caramel Coffee Cake or Monkey Bread
INGREDIENTS:
●2 Tubes (12 Ounces Each) Refrigerated Flaky Buttermilk Biscuits
●1 cup Packed Brown Sugar
●1/2 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
●1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
Apple Monkey Bread
Apple Monkey Bread is a cinnamon roll bake with apples and Pillsbury cinnamon rolls - tastes like an apple fritter but it's a casserole!
RECIPE:
BUY MY BOOK! Crazy for Cookies, Brownies and Bars (affiliate link):
2 medium apples peeled, cored, and diced small (about 1 1/2 cups apples)
1 tablespoon brown sugar
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon (5ml) water
1 can Pillsbury Grands! Cinnamon Rolls 5 rolls
5 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
⅓ cup (67g) packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon (5 ml) heavy whipping cream or milk optional
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9″ pie plate or pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Place small diced apples, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon of water in a small bowl. Stir. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and cook on high power for 2-3 minutes, or until apples are just slightly translucent. Drain well.
While the apples are cooking, cut each cinnamon roll into 6 pieces. They’ll fall apart a little, that’s okay. Sprinkle the pieces evenly in the prepared pan. Once the apples are done, drain them well and sprinkle them over the cinnamon roll pieces.
Stir the melted butter and brown sugar together, then pour over the top of the apples and cinnamon rolls. Bake for 28-33 minutes or until cooked through in the center.
Just before serving, place the icing that came with the cinnamon rolls in a small bowl. Heat for about 10 seconds so it’s pourable. Stir in heavy whipping cream (or milk) to make it more of a glaze, then pour over the top of the casserole. Serve warm or room temperature.
Store tightly covered for up to 2 days.

Apple Fritter Monkey Bread | Delish
Gooey doesn't even begin to describe it.
DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 9x5” loaf pan with cooking spray or butter.
2. On a cutting board, separate biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters. Roll each piece into a ball. Dunk each ball in the melted butter than toss in cinnamon-sugar until evenly coated. Lay about half of the biscuit balls in an even layer, touching on both sides, in the bottom of the loaf pan.
3. Toss apples with brown sugar, granulated sugar and cinnamon. Scatter a very thin layer of apples on top of the biscuit balls. (You want the second layer of biscuits to touch the base layer.) Lay the second and final layer of biscuit balls over the apples, and top with remaining apples. Bake for 35-45 minutes, until the biscuits are a deep golden and the apple mixture is bubbling. Let cool for about 15 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, make glaze. Whisk together powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
5. Run a knife around the edges of the pan, and transfer the monkey bread onto a serving platter. Drizzle glaze on top of the loaf. Serve warm.
INGREDIENTS
1 (12-oz.) can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
6 tbsp. butter, melted
2 c. cinnamon sugar
2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and finely chopped
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. granulated sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
