Hi guys! My name is Sammie & I am a homesteading wife, a homeschooling mom & a granny.
We live on a 10-acre small hobby farm in Oklahoma, we have 7 children with 4 still at home. We grow & process a majority of our meat supply & grow an organic garden which supplies us throughout the year by growing & preserving.
We are also blessed with many wild edibles growing on our land to forage, eat & to also use medicinally ~ I show you how to harvest, use & preserve some of them.

SAUSAGE BALLS
SAUSAGE BALLS
3 cups sifted BISQUICK
1/4 teaspoon CAYENNE PEPPER
1/2 cups MILK
1 pound (16 ounces) SHARP CHEDDAR CHEESE
1 pound GROUND SAUAGE, I used Jimmy Dean, uncooked
Mix the BISQUICK and cayenne together then add the other ingredients and mix well. I use an electric mixer to do the work for me. Scoop out and roll into balls the size of a walnut. Do not pack the balls down. Loosely roll like a meatball so they wont be tough. I also use a 1 tablespoon scooper to make uniform sized balls. LBake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 18 minutes. Can be frozen and thawed to enjoy another time as well. Just microwave for 30 seconds at a time until heated. Or oven heat too.
