Sausage, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Casserole ~ Great for Christmas morning!

Bread to cover the bottom of the dish (6-8 pieces)
8 oz shredded cheese (half for inside the casserole and half for the top) (I used cheddar but you can use any kind of cheese you like)
1 pound ground sausage (you could also use ham or bacon)
4 eggs
1 cup milk
1 can cream of celery soup (you could also use cream of mushroom or cream of chicken)
1 TBS dry mustard
Add 1 TBS butter to a skillet and cook the sausage. Place torn bread in a greased 9 x 13 pan.
Combine beaten eggs, dry mustard, 1/2 of the cheese, soup, milk, and sausage in a bowl.
Pour over the torn bread in the baking dish.
Sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
Cover and refrigerate at least 3 - 4 hour. Overnight is better!
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 50 - 60 minutes until it is brown and bubbly on top.

1 lb breakfast sausage
30ounce bag of frozen potatoes O’Brien
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
8 eggs
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp mustard powder
Preheat oven to 350°
Cook the sausage and set aside
In the sausage oil, over medium high heat, cook the potatoes, salt and pepper the potatoes to taste (they need a good amount of seasoning! So be generous!) , about 7-10 minutes
Meanwhile mix together the eggs, seasoning, cheese, and heavy cream. Add the sausage and stir
Spray a 9x13 casserole dish with nonstick spray
Add the potatoes to the bottom and the egg mixture over the potatoes.
Bake uncovered for 45 minutes
