Ingredients

cup
onion, chopped
1
pound
wieners, sliced diagonally
1
each
garlic clove, minced
3
tablespoon
margarine or butter
3
tablespoon
flour
1/4
teaspoon
dry mustard
2
cup
tomato juice
1
cup
water
2
teaspoon
worcestershire sauce
1
each
21 oz can baked beans
1
cheddar cheese, shredded, if desired
Directions:
In large pan saute onion, wieners and garlic in margarine until onion is tender. Stir in flour & mustard. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly, until smooth & bubbly. Gradually stir in tomato juice, water, worcestershire sauce and baked beans; cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Garnish each serving with cheese.
NOTE: You can use a little A-1 sauce, or use V-8 juice instead of tomato.

Ingredients for the casserole:
2 tbsp olive oil
20-30 depending on how hungry your family are! good quality chipolata sausages (use gluten-free chipolatas if required)
1 large red onion peeled and roughly chopped
2 red peppers deseeded and roughly chopped
20 mini chorizo the bitesize ones, chopped in half
3 cloves garlic peeled and minced
2 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried thyme
120 ml (1/2 cup) red wine (optional)
2 chicken stock cubes crumbled (replace with 2 tsp vegetable bouillon for gluten free)
3 x 400g (14 oz) tins chopped tomatoes
1 x 400g (14oz) tin haricot beans, drained and rinsed
1 x 400g (14oz) tin cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
