How To make Spiced Green Beans & Rice (Sem Pullao)
1 tb Black mustard seeds
1 pn Crushed red chili flakes
1 ts Cumin seeds
1/4 ts Asafetida (optional)
2 tb Olive oil
3 c Chopped fresh green beans
1 ts Tumeric
1/4 ts Sea salt
1 c Uncooked basmati rice
3 1/2 c Water or vegetable broth
Place rice in a strainer and rinse with cool water until water runs clear. Set aside. In a large saucepan, fry mustard seeds, chili, cumin seeds and asafetida in hot oil until mustard seeds begin to sputter and pop. Add green beans, tumeric and salt. Saute for 3 minutes. Add rice to green bean mixture in saucepan and saute for 3 minutes. Add water and bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes. (Do not remove cover while cooking.) Remove from heat and set aside for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve. Per serving: 279 cal, 7 g prot, 433 mg sod, 43 g carb, 9 g fat, 0 mg chol, 232 mg calcium

Jaipuri Pulao
Ingredients-
2 cups of boiled rice
1 cup boiled mix vegs
1 tbsp cashewnut pieces
1 tbsp rasins
Coriander leaves
salt to taste
3 paneer cubes
1 tbsp butter
For seasoning: 2 cardamons, 1 cinnamon stick, 4 peppercorns, 2 cloves, 1 bay leaf
For masala paste:
1 small onion,
2 green chilies,
1/2 ginger piece,
1 tbsp cashew nuts,
1 tsp coriander and cumin seed powder, 1 tbsp cream
Grind all the ingredients into a smooth paste.

Beans Curry
Ingredients
Beans – 150 grams
Onion – 1
Garlic cloves – 5
Ginger
Few mint leaves
Oil – 2 tbl spoon
Cumin seeds – ½ teaspoon
Chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
Garam masala – ½ teaspoon
Turmeric powder
Curd – 5 tbl spoon
Coriander leaves
Salt

FRENCH BEANS SABJI
Ingredients :
2 tbsp Oil (तेल)
1 tsp Cumin Seeds (जीरा)
1 inch Ginger – chopped (अदरक)
3 fresh Green Chillies – chopped (हरी मिर्च)
3-4 cloves Garlic – chopped (लहसुन)
1 medium Onion – sliced (प्याज़)
½ tsp Asafoetida (हींग)
½ tsp Turmeric Powder (हल्दी पाउडर)
1 tsp Degi Red Chilli Powder (देगी लाल मिर्च पाउडर)
1 tsp Coriander Powder (धनिया पाउडर)
1 cup soaked Chana Dal (भीगी हुई चना दाल)
Salt to taste (नमक स्वादानुसार)
2 cups French Beans – cut in 1 inch pieces (फ्रेंच बींस)
1 medium Tomato – chopped (टमाटर)
few Coriander Leaves – roughly torn (धनिया पत्ता)
Process:
In a kadai heat oil then add cumin seeds, ginger, green chillies, garlic saute a few seconds.
Now add onion saute until translucent then add asafoetida, turmeric powder, degi red chilli powder, coriander powder and saute until fragrant.
Then add soaked chana dal, salt, some water and mix it once then cover and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Now add french beans and mix everything properly then cover and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Remove the lid then add tomatoes and saute for a minute, finish it with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
