Throwing a science themed kids party? We’ve teamed up with Cadbury to make a batch of rocky road that’s out of this world! Super-easy and impressive, this no-bake chocolate cake combines digestive biscuits, marshmallows, Cadbury Fudge bars and sticky golden syrup to make 16 bite-sized pieces that are perfect for party platters. Simply add ready-made chocolate stars to give it the intergalactic edge.
INGREDIENTS
120g butter
225g Cadbury Bournville Chocolate, broken into pieces
60g golden syrup
225g digestive biscuits, broken into small pieces
3 Cadbury Fudge bars, chopped into 12 pieces each
100g pink and white mini marshmallows
1-2 packs giant milk and white chocolate stars
Approx. 8g mini white chocolate stars
METHOD
1. Melt the butter, chocolate and golden syrup together in a bowl over a saucepan of
simmering water.
2. Break the digestive biscuits into pieces and place in a large bowl. Cut 3 Cadbury Fudge bars into small pieces (around 12 per bar), and add them to the biscuits along with the marshmallows - followed by your melted chocolate mix from Step 1. Stir until combined.
3. Spoon into a cake tin (26cm x 16cm), flattening the surface as best you can, then stick the chocolate stars into the top and scatter with extra sprinkles.
4. Chill in the fridge for at least two hours, then cut into 12 pieces and serve.
