How To make Rice Patties
2 tb Oil
2 lg Onions, diced
1 Stalk celery, diced
2 Carrots, diced
1 Green pepper, diced
2 Garlic cloves, diced
6 tb Tamari
1/2 ts Garlic powder
1/2 ts Basil
1/2 ts Oregano
3 c Cooked rice
1/4 c Peanut butter
1/2 c Flour
In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat; add the onions and saute for 5 minutes, until golden. Add the celery, carrots, andpepper; saute for 5 minutes,, add the diced garlic, and saute for 5 minutes more until the vegetables are tender. Season with the tamari, garlic powder, basil and oregano. Remove from heat. Add the rice. Season to taste. Add the peanut butter and flour. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Oil a cookie sheet. Form the mixture into patties, and place on the cookie sheet. Bake for 5 to 6 minutes until crispy golden on top; turn over and bake for 5 to 6 minutes more. Variation Substitute kasha (buckwheat groats), cous cous or bulghur for the rice. Mix Well
¾ Cup Gram Flour (Add Gradually)
Grease Oil In Hand
Make Shape
Fry In Medium Heated Oil
Fry For 5-7 Min.

1/2cup | 90g | 3oz uncooked quinoa
1cup | 8fl oz water
1 large sweet potato
1/2 small head broccoli
3 spring onions
30g | 1oz fresh coriander
2tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
black pepper & salt to taste
2-3 heaped tbsp flour (preferably chickpea flour / gram flour)
olive oil

Rice Cutlets
Ingredients
Cooked Rice - 1 cup
Chopped Onions - 1/4 cup
Chopped Ginger - 1 tsp
Chopped Garlic - 1 tsp
Chopped Green Chili - 1 tsp
Boiled Potato(Grated) - 1 no
Grated Carrot - 1 no
Chopped Mint leaves
Chopped Coriander leaves
Turmeric powder
Salt
Chili powder - 1 tsp
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Lemon - 1 no
Ghee
Oil
Buy Ghee at
Buy Pan at
Method:
1.Take a bowl, add 1 whole cup of Cooked rice, some finely chopped Onions, some Chopped Ginger, Chopped Garlic, Chopped Green Chili, Medium sized Grated Boiled Potato, 1 small Grated Carrot, some Chopped Mint leaves and some Chopped Coriander leaves.
2.Now, add series of spices - Season it with some salt, a pinch of Turmeric powder, 1 tsp of Chili powder, 1 tsp of Cumin powder, 1/2 tsp of Garam masala and Juice of 1 Lemon.
3.Mix everything together and mash it well with your hand.
4.Grease your hands with Ghee or Oil, roll them into small patties.
5.Take a wide sauce pan and Pour some Oil, Shallow fry the Rice Patties till it gets golden brown.
Yummy and healthy Rice Cutlets are ready to serve.
