How To make Pork Chop& Apple Casserole
4 Thick Pork Chops
2 tb Butter
1 sm Onion
chopped
2 md Tart Apples :
chopped
2 tb Sugar
1 tb Crystallized Ginger -- finely
-chopped 2 c Soft breadcrumbs
Salt 1/4 c Water -- (or wine)
Sear the chops on both sides and remove from pan. Add butter to drippings and saute onion until clear. Drain and mix the onion with apples, sugar, ginger, breadcrumbs, salt and 1/4 c water(or wine). Spread this mixture in the bottom of a shallow buttered casserole, arrange pork chops on top and bake, covered, at 350 deg.F for 1 hour. Remove lid last 10 min to brown. time about 1 1/4 hours. 1993: left out butter and pam sprayed casserole pan.

???? Anyone else have a ridiculous amount of apples in their house? This pork chop dinner is so easy to put together and the flavors are deliciously fall. The second the weather gets a little cooler, this is always on the menu. The apple gravy is so good - not super thick but perfect addition to really tie everything together. Seb ate apples before, during and after dinner on this one. Tag me if you try it.

Ingredients:
4 boneless pork chops
Avocado oil
Grass-fed butter
Halved Brussels sprouts - amount to your liking
2 sliced honey crisp apples
1/3 cup chicken broth
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
3 tbsp raw maple syrup
2 tbsp dijon mustard
1 tbsp chopped flat leaf parsley
Salt
Pepper
Instructions:
Half and cook your well-seasoned sprouts in avocado oil stovetop until done. In another pan, sear your pork chops with avocado oil, salt and pepper. Cook 3 minutes, flip, and 2 minutes on the other side or until done. Transfer pork to plate. Add your butter and apples to the same pan and cook for 2 minutes. Add stock and nutmeg and bring to a boil. Add remaining salt, more butter, syrup, dijon mustard, and parsley. Stir well and cook for 1 minute. Plate everything, add extra gravy and more parsley on top. Serve and enjoy!
