Baked Pork Chops
This is how to make amazing pork chops in the oven! Country style sauce made with pantry staples, caramelised surface, tasty sauce for drizzling and potatoes on the same tray!
Quick & Easy Autumn Comfort Food | Pork Chops with Creamy Mustard Sauce
These succulent pork chops are pan-fried and finished in the oven, all served in a warming, creamy-mustard sauce. Super-quick to cook - they're ready in about 15 minutes.

Ingredients
4 thick cut, bone-in, Pork chops
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 ½ tbsp sunflower oil
240 ml (1 cup) chicken stock
1 heaped tbsp wholegrain mustard
120 ml (½ cup) double (heavy) cream
1 dash (about ⅛ tsp) Worcestershire sauce
To serve:
2 tbsp freshly chopped parsley
Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 175C/350C.
2. Place the pork chops on a plate and sprinkle on the salt and pepper.
3. Heat the oil in a large pan over a high heat.
4. Place the pork chops in the pan and cook for about 3 minutes on each side, until golden.
5. Transfer the pork to a baking tray, and place in the oven for 5-6 minutes, until the pork is no longer pink in the middle.
6. Meanwhile, turn the heat for the pan down to medium and add the chicken stock to the pan.
7. Heat for 3-4 minutes, giving the stock a stir, to deglaze the pan.
8. Stir in the mustard, then stir in the cream and Worcestershire sauce.
9. Bring to the boil, then simmer gently for 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly.
10. When the pork is ready, remove from the oven and place on a warm plate to rest for 3-4 minutes.
11. Divide the rested pork between plates and pour over the sauce.
12. Sprinkle with parsley and black pepper and serve.

You can vary the spices according to you liking, but I find them perfect as is. Bone in or butterfly chops can be used. It totally depends on your preference.

Ingredients
2 pork chops, (7 ounces each), skinless, bone-in, 1-inch thick
3 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tbsp butter
1 garlic clove, crushed, skin-on
3 twigs thyme, or rosemary, fresh
For Vegetables:
10 oz bell peppers, of your choice, deseeded, thinly sliced, used red and green
3 oz yellow onions, or red onions, thinly sliced
1 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tbsp olive oil
salt and ground black pepper, to taste
To Serve:
parsley, chopped
⬇️ How to make Easy Pork Chop Dinner ⬇️
0:08 Preheat the oven at 350 degrees F.
0:11 Season the chops liberally with salt and ground black pepper. Set aside to allow the seasoning to penetrate through the meat.
0:37 Heat up a skillet with vegetable oil until smoking.
0:40 Sear the pork chops until golden brown. Then, add garlic, rosemary, or thyme twigs and butter. Baste the pork chops as you go.
1:12 Finish the cooking process in the oven for roughly 30 minutes.
1:25 Allow to rest for at least 10 minutes. While waiting, cook the vegetables.
1:29 Heat up olive oil on a saute pan. Add the onions and bell peppers. Saute until vegetables turn translucent.
1:47 Add the vinegar and sugar. Continue sauteing until vegetables are tender and liquid has reduced.
1:59 Season to taste with salt and pepper. Adjust accordingly.
2:11 Transfer the cooked vegetables onto a plate, place the pork chops on top, and spoon over any cooking juices from the cooking of the pork chop.
2:30 Garnish with parsley and serve.
