2 2/3 c Flour
3 ts Baking powder
1/4 ts Salt
1 c Pineapple juice
3 Eggs
1 ts Orange flavoring
1 ts Pineapple flavoring
-YOU WON'T BELIEVE IT- -FROSTING- 1 c Sugar
1/2 c Shortening
1/2 c Margarine
1 Egg yolk
1/2 c Milk
1 ts Orange flavoring
1 ts Pineapple flavoring
-COOKED PINEAPPLE- 1 c Pineapple
1/4 c Sugar
2 tb Cornstarch
Cream shortening, sugar, then add eggs one at a time. Beat until very light and fluffy. Add flour, baking powder, and salt to creamed mixture alternately with juice. Begin with flour and end with flour. Bake at 350~ for 30-35 minutes. Makes 2 9-inch layers. You Won't Believe It Frosting. Beat these ingredients at high speed with electric mixer for exactly 15 minutes. No more or no less. Now add and mix in 2/3 cup of cooked pineapple. Frost cake. Cooked Pineapple. The original instructions say to put frosting in a covered dish in the refrigerator for a month. Then add the cooked mixture. No way around my house. If anyone waits a month to use it, let me know how it turned out. pat. -----

PINEAPPLE DREAM DESSERT | No Bake Pineapple Cream Dessert
I’ve always been obsessed with no bake desserts. And this pineapple dream dessert is pretty up there!! It’s so creamy, fluffy and delicious, everyone will love it!
Pineapple Dream Dessert
Ingredients
For the graham cracker crest
1 1/2 cups graham crackers crumbs (about 12 graham cracker sheets)
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter (1 stick), melted
For the pineapple cream
8 oz bar cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter (1 stick), softened
1-2 cups powdered sugar
20 oz can crushed pineapple, drained well
8 oz fresh whipped cream or cool whip
Directions
Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar and melted butter. Spread mixture onto the bottom of a 9 x 9“ baking dish (or something similar in size) to form a crust. Refrigerate while working on the next layer.
Combine cream cheese and butter and mix in powdered sugar.
Fold in drained pineapple. Fold in whip cream or cool whip.
Spread mixture over graham cracker crust and refrigerate for a few hours or overnight.
Fresh whip cream
Beat 1 cup of heavy whipping cream and 1/4 cup powdered sugar with an electric mixer. Start at low speed then increase speed to high and continue to beat until stiff peaks form. Do not over mix!

Pineapple Dream Dessert

Ingredients
Crust:
2 1/2 cups graham crumbs 2 sleeves
1/2 cup unsalted butter
Layers:
2 cups powdered sugar sifted
1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
4 oz cream cheese softened
8 oz Cool Whip fat-free
20 oz crushed pineapple drained well
Instructions
Preheat oven to 300 F.
Melt butter in the microwave and allow to cool. Combine the crumbs and butter and toss together until incorporated. Press 2 cups of the crumb mixture firmly into an 9×9 square pan and bake for 8-10 minutes. Place on wire rack to cool.
Beat the cream cheese and butter together until creamy. Turn the mixer down to low and add the powdered sugar one cup at a time until incorporated. Turn up and beat well for a minute or so. Add a heaping tablespoon of the drained pineapple and stir in with a rubber spatula. Spread the cream cheese and pineapple mixture over the crust.
Fold the remaining pineapple into the Cool Whip and spread on top of the cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle the remaining graham cracker crumb mixture on top. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Notes
NO BAKE VERSION: If it's too hot to turn on the oven, you can make the crust without baking it. Simply follow the instructions in the recipe, then instead of baking the crust, place it in the refrigerator. Let the crust chill for about 20 minutes. The butter will solidify and hold the crust together.
