How To make Pasta and Peas
2 ts Olive oil or margarine
1/4 c Chopped onion
1 Garlic clove, minced
1/2 c Sliced fresh mushrooms
1 c Tomato juice
1/2 c Frozen tiny peas
2 oz Fontina or mozzarella
-cheese, shredded 1/2 c Cooked ditalini or other
-tube macaroni 5 ts Chopped fresh parsley
1 ds Each salt and pepper
In 1-quart saucepan heat oil; add onion and garlic and saute until onion is translucent. Add mushrooms and saute over high heat until mushrooms exude liquid, about 2 minutes; add juice and bring to a boil. Cook until sauce is slightly thickened, about 15 minutes; add peas and cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes longer. Add remaining ingredients and cook, stirring, until cheese is melted. Pasta and Peas an old classic Italian recipe. A creamy, and cheesy pasta dish from scratch.
Recipe Steps:
First I stir-fry white onions in extra virgin olive oil and then add green peas.
A pinch of salt, a scraNCH of pepper and some hot water. Remove most of your peas, blend and Strain the cream into your pan. Keep adding more hot cooking water And take it to a boil then add your uncooked pasta.
It will slowly absorb all the sauce. Just keep adding a little water until the pasta is al dente. I can't stress enough, if its getting too thick, add more boiling cooking water.
Finally, I’m going to whisk one egg, some pecorino and parmigiano and mix it in for the last minute of cooking.

Ingredients
1 pound (454g) ditalini or tubetti
½ cup (120g) extra virgin olive oil
1 large onion - diced
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1 6-ounce (180g) can tomato paste
4 cups (960g) water - plus more as needed
1 teaspoon kosher salt - plus more to taste
12 ounces (354g) frozen peas
¾ cup (90g) Pecorino Romano - grated

SUPER CREAMY PEAS AND PASTA ITALIAN RECIPE
Peas and Pasta (Pasta e Piselli) Italian Recipe is one of the family's favorite meal in Italy. It is very simple and easy to make for less than 30 minutes.It requires only 5 main ingredients and can use either fresh or convenient frozen green peas.
So if you want a delicious pasta dish ready in no time, this quick Italian recipe is for you!
HOW TO MAKE PEAS AND PASTA RECIPE
INGREDIENTS:
*400 g. green peas
*2 medium sized eggs
*100 g. grated cheese (Pecorino Romano)
*1 medium onion
*400 g. pasta (mezze penne rigate type pasta)
*3-4 tbsp. olive oil
*pepper
*salt
METHODS:
-Cut onion into pieces
-Heat 3-4 tbsps. olive oil in a medium sized pan
-Add chopped onions,saute until it appears transparent
-Add the green peas
-Prepare a hot water ready and keep it on the side
-Put a hot water in sauteed green peas as it will be used to soften the peas
-In my case,I used a small blender/grinder to grind well the cooked green peas
-Use strainer to drain the peas,then set aside the skin from the creamy paste
-Just leave the creamy paste to make the sauce later
-In a small bowl,beat 2 eggs
-Put the grated Pecorino Romano cheese and mix these two very well.Set aside.
-Heat the green peas creamy paste in a pan
-Then add the penne pasta.Cook into prepared creamy paste sauce
-Add some hot water if necessary to cook the pasta.
-Add salt
-Once pasta is cooked into sauce,add the cheese and egg mixture.
-Add a pinch of pepper.
And its ready to serve!!Enjoy!!
