How To make Nutty Maple Waffles
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs -- separated
1 can (12 oz.) evaporated skim milk
3 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon maple flavored extract
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
In medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt; set aside. In large mixer bowl, combine egg yolks, evaporated skimmed milk, oil and maple extract; beat well. Gradually add dry ingredients, beating well after each addition until smooth. In small mixer bowl, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold into batter. Preheat waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions. Pour 1/2 cup bater onto hot iron; sprinkle with 1 tablespoon chopped pecans. Bake 3 to 4 minutes or until steaming stops. Repeat with remaining batter and nuts.
For Nutty Maple Pancakes: Pour 1/2 cup batter onto preheated greased griddle or electric skillet. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon chopped pecans; bake and turn. Repeat with remaining batter and nuts.

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup creamy almond butter or your favorite nut butter
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp almond milk
1/2 tsp vanilla powder
1/4 cup unsweetened chocolate chunks or roughly chopped
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tbsp coconut oil
4 tbsp organic coconut sugar
1/3 cup canned coconut cream
1/8 tsp pink himalayan salt
1/3 cup finely chopped cashews or your favorite nuts
1 tbsp coconut flour
INSTRUCTIONS:
Line an 8 x 8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, combine the nut butter maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla powder, and mix well. Set aside.
In a small saucepan over very low heat, melt the dark chocolate and 1 tbsp of coconut oil while stirring constantly. Continue to whisk in the other 2 tbsp of coconut oil, cocoa powder, and coconut sugar.
Once combined, remove from heat and whisk in the coconut cream until shiny and thick.
Use a rubber spatula to transfer the chocolate mixture into the nut butter mixture and mix very well.
Stir in the coconut flour and chopped nuts and mix until flour is completely absorbed.
Transfer the mixture to the parchment-lined baking dish and spread out evenly. Sprinkle with salt if desired.
Refrigerate or freeze until firm then cut into squares and enjoy!

How to Make Kodiak Protein Waffles (Step by Step)
[1] In a medium bowl, whisk together the greek yogurt, water, egg, oil, and vanilla extract.
[2] In a large bowl, combine the pancake mix with the chia seeds.
[3] Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
[4] Spray a heated waffle iron with nonstick cooking spray or brush with oil.
[5] Scoop the batter onto the waffle iron (the amount will differ by waffle iron) and close to cook.
[6] When the waffle is golden brown, remove and serve immediately or keep warm until ready to serve.
How to Make Peanut Butter Syrup
[1] Add the maple syrup and peanut butter to a medium saucepan and turn the stove to medium-high heat.
[2] Bring the mixture to a boil, then turn the heat down and simmer for 5 minutes.
[3] Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla.
[4] Drizzle over the waffles and add mini chocolate chips.
