How To make Monkey Bars
1 1/4 c flour
2 medium bananas
mashed
3/4 c brown sugar, packed
1/3 c granulated sugar
1/4 c buttermilk
1 ea egg
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 c walnuts :
chopped
1/4 c confectioner's sugar -- chocolate
1 tsp water
Heat oven to 350 F. Lightly coat 9" square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Mix together flour and baking powder in a small bowl. Beat together banana, brown sugar and granulated sugar in bowl until blended. Add buttermilk, egg, oil and vanilla, beating well.
Stir in flour mixture just until blended. Fold in nuts. Spread batter evenly in prepared pan.
Bake in 350 F. oven for 25 to 30 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack.
Meanwhile, stir together confectioner's sugar and water in small cup until smooth. If necessary for a better drizzling consistency, add more water, a drop at a time. Drizzle over cooled cake. Cut cake into 12 bars.

After I go to the gym, I like to have a snack before breakfast. It's gotta be tasty, but low cal to not blow my meal. This recipe makes 10 bars at 190 calories a pop. The recipe was suuuuuper easy too!
Here's what ya need:
* 2 large eggs
* 1/2 cup (130g) peanut butter
* 1/4 cup (45g) puréed or finely chopped pitted dates
* 1 medium banana, mashed
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 cup (80g) rolled oats
* 1 teaspoon baking powder
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/2 cup (120g) dark chocolate chunks or mini morsels
* 1/4 cup (30g) chopped walnuts
* 8x8 in pan

All you need is????
For the dough:
60g Greek yoghurt (any fat %)
50g self raising flour
Cinnamon sugar:
1 tbsp granulated sweetener (any)
1 tsp cinnamon
Caramel sauce:
25g coconut oil
30ml (2 tbsp) maple syrup
1 tbsp peanut coconut butter
Microwave times based on a 700W microwave!

Chocolate Almond Monkey Bars!! (Paleo, Dairy-free, Gluten-free, Grain-free, Chemical-free & Organic)

This recipe is paleo, chemical-free, organic, gluten-free, grain-free, dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free, and refined sugar-free!
Ingredients:
6 aging bananas
7 oz. of melted paleo chocolate (see my amazon store below for the Hu Chocolate chips)
1.5 cups of unsweetened organic almond butter
**optional: crushed cashews as a topping
**optional: flaky sea salt as a topping
Directions:
1.) Cut your bananas in half, and then down the middle, then place on a cookie sheet.
2.) Now use a spoon and spread approx. 1 tablespoon of almond butter on each piece.
3.) Freeze for 20 minutes to harden the almond butter.
4.) Now pour the melted chocolate, crushed cashews, and flakey sea salt all over the banana pieces.
**Pro-tip: Best if served on a plate with a fork. Enjoy!!!!
**Be sure to keep these in the freezer so they don't fall apart and so your bananas don't turn brown.
