3 c FLOUR
1 c brOWN SUGAR
1 c SUGAR
1 tb CINNAMON
1 c BUTTER SOFTENED
1 t SALT
1 t BAKING SODA
1 t VANILLA
2 ea EGGS
1 c BUTTER MILK
MIX FLOUR, SUGARS, BUTTER AND CINNAMON TILL CRUMBLY. RESERVE 3/4 CUP FOR TOPPING. MIX REMAINING INGREDIENTS INTO FLOUR MIX AND STIR TO WET ALL INGREDIENTS. DO NOT OVER MIX!!! POUR INTO GREASED FLOURED TUBE PAN. SPRINKLE WITH TOPPING. BAKE AT 350 DEG. F. FOR 45-50 MINUTES OR UNTIL WOOD PICK COMES OUT CLEAN. COOL BEFORE REMOVING FROM PAN.

Baking a Mary Berry Hokey Pokey Coffee Cake
Self-isolation has me baking again! I baked my second Mary Berry recipe. It's called a Hokey Pokey Coffee Cake and it can be found on page 30 in her book titled 100 Cakes and Bakes. You can pretty much find this book anywhere if you Google it. This cake gave me some troubles along the way, but I did the best I could! Especially since I had to try something I had never done before, which was making the Walnut Praline. Even though I didn't enjoy the amount of butter in the cake I did enjoy baking this cake and I even learned how to make caster sugar all gooey, so it wasn't a total loss! The cake did have a very good amount of coffee flavor, which is good since it has coffee in it's name! Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed watching this vlog!

Ingredients Used for the Cake:
2 loose-based (8 in) sandwich tins (1 1/2 in) deep
8 oz butter (softened)
8 oz caster sugar
4 large eggs
8 oz self-raising flour
1 level tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tbsp instant coffee mixed with 1 tbsp hot water
3 oz walnuts (chopped)
Ingredients Used for the Walnut Praline:
2 tbsp water
2 oz caster sugar
2 oz walnut pieces
Ingredients Used for Butter Icing:
3 oz butter (softened)
9 oz icing sugar (sifted)
1 1/2 level tsp instant coffee dissolved in 1 1/2 tbsp hot water

Spicy One-Pan Coffee Cake To Bake
This is a quick one-pan coffee cake made with simple ingredients from your kitchen cupboard. Yummy for Christmas or any time!

SOUR CREAM SPICE CAKE: Sift the sugar flour soda and spices in ungreased 8
by 8 pan. Level off. Make 3 holes, place vanilla, oil, and lastly vinegar, one in each hole. Pour
cream over, mix well until flour disappears. Mix the last 3 ingr. and sprinkle over batter. Bake
at 350F for 40-45 minutes or until cake springs back when touched. You can also ice the cake.
1 ½ CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
1 CUP GRANULATED SUGAR
1 TEASPOON BAKING SODA
2 TEASPOON CINNAMON
½ TEASPOON GROUND CLOVES
