Cracker Barrel OFFICIAL Hashbrown Casserole Recipe !!! Homemade Hash brown casserole!
In this video I will be showing you how to make Cracker Barrel CopyCat hash browns !
Ingredients:
2 lbs frozen hashbrowns ( thawed)
8oz Colby cheese
10.5 oz condensed cream of chicken
1/2 stick butter ( melted)
1/2 onion ( diced)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
Hashbrown Breakfast Casserole with Sausage | The Recipe Rebel

Ingredients
▢1 lb breakfast sausage pork or turkey casings removed
▢4 cups frozen hash browns cubed or shredded
▢½ red bell pepper diced
▢½ green bell pepper diced
▢½ onion finely diced
▢10 large eggs
▢1½ cups whole or evaporated milk you can also use part milk, part cream
▢1½ teaspoons salt
▢1 teaspoon dried parsley
▢½ teaspoon black pepper
▢3 cups shredded cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a 9x13 casserole dish.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, crumble and brown the sausage (you may need to add a bit of oil if using turkey sausage). Remove from the pan and set aside in a large bowl.
In the same pan, cook peppers and onion until softened, adding additional oil if needed.
Add hash browns, sausage, and vegetables to the prepared dish. Add 2 cups of the cheese and stir well.
Whisk together eggs, milk, salt, parsley, and pepper and pour over the mixture in the pan.
Sprinkle with remaining cheese, cover, and bake for 40-50 minutes, until the eggs are just set through the center. Uncover and broil to brown slightly if desired.
Classic Hash Brown Casserole
Classic recipe for Hash Brown Casserole
Ingredients:
1 cup sour cream
4 ounces cream cheese
1 cup cheddar cheese
1/2 cup green onions
1 can cream of celery soup (10.75 ounces)
1 can cream of chicken soup (10.75 ounces)
1 stick of unsalted butter (4 ounces)
6 slices of cooked crispy bacon
1 Tablespoon dried parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 bag of hash browns (30 to 32 ounces)
Top with another cup of cheddar cheese
1 cup fresh bread crumbs
2 Tablespoons butter
Bake 30 to 50 minutes @ 350F or until bubbly
****NOTE**** I've also used Gruyere Cheese in place of the cheddar with great results!

Ingredients
1 tablespoon unsalted butter, at room temperature
One 16-ounce bag frozen shredded hash brown potatoes, thawed
8 ounces sharp yellow Cheddar, shredded (about 4 cups)
1/2 cup sour cream, plus more for garnish
1 medium yellow onion, coarsely grated
1 large egg
1 1/2 teaspoons sweet paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a 9-by-9-inch casserole dish with the butter and set aside.
Add the hash browns, 7 ounces (about 3 1/2 cups) of the Cheddar, the sour cream, onion, egg, paprika, cayenne and 1/4 cup of the chopped chives to a large bowl. Season with salt and pepper and stir until combined. Pour into the prepared casserole dish and top with the remaining 1 ounce (1/2 cup) Cheddar.
Bake for 45 minutes until the casserole is heated through, browned on top and the sides become crispy. Let cool for 5 minutes. Cut into slices and dollop with more sour cream and the remaining 2 tablespoons chives.
